What was underneath the black zipper mask that Korekiyo always wore were a pair of bright red plush lips.

It would be a serious understatement if one said that the rest of the Ultimates were very concerned. A more fitting expression might be that they were <em>absolutely petrified</em>.

"Calm yourself, Korekiyo," Kiyo(?) told himself in a falsetto that could possibly be identified as a female voice. "Do not let their accusations faze you. You know what's most important, don't you? <em>I</em> am the only thing in your existence. <em>I</em> am the only thing that matters to you. Do not forget your promise..."

Kaede was sure that she had heard enough. Carefully, Tenko maneuvered behind Kiyo and hit him in the neck with a swift karate chop. The Ultimate Anthropologist crumpled on the floor, and Gonta lugged him into a sitting position.

There were then several moments where everyone just stood there, stunned."

I guess that this is ample rebuttal to Kaito's whole 'ghosts don't exist' vendetta," Kokichi muttered. "I can imagine his face is he was here to see this shit,"

"You think that Korekiyo was possessed by a paranormal entity?" Kirumi asked. "Not that I can really refute it with this-" she motioned at the lipstick. "But is such a thing really possible?"

"Kiyo is the Ultimate Anthropologist for a reason," Kiibo pointed out. "He said that his sister <em>pushed</em> him to study the topic as much as possible,"

"She was sick and bedridden, and if she had an interest in anthropology, which needs one to travel all over the world to learn about cultures, she knew her dream was blown right out of the water," Kaede looked back to all the conversations that she had had with Kiyo. "Her little brother was her vessel, in a way. Her legacy."

"We have to interrogate him later! Otherwise, I don't know whether to treat him as a degenerate or a queen!" Tenko yelled, her face betraying absolute confusion. "He can replace Angie in her status! Angie is officially a degenerate as well now because she helped kill Himiko and Maki! Tenko will protect all the other girls from her!"

"Do your best, but Atua's word will always win in the end!"

<em>Is that really the most pressing issue on your mind now...? Whatever.</em>

"You guys should go open up the other parts of the Ultimate Academy," Kaede offered, changing the subject. "I want to stay here, though. I want to keep an eye on...the problem."

"I'll stay too," Shuichi took Kaede's hand and squeezed it tight. Kokichi sighed romantically.

"C'mon guys! Let's leave these dirty lovebirds on their own! I can feel ghosts around here, Miu's probably possessed Shuichi..."

Kirumi thumped him lightly on the head, but all of them gave the duo some space. When at last Tenko closed the cafeteria doors after giving another dubious look at Angie, Shuichi turned to Kaede.

"Remember what Ryoma said to Korkeiyo, just before his execution?"

Of course she remembered.

<em> "I'm damaged. Really damaged. But you? You're not beyond repair. You still have a chance of stopping. I suspected. Miu suspected. That's probably why she planned on killing you. Take care of yourself."</em>

"Do you think that has anything to do with Korekiyo's sister popping up?" Kaede asked.

"Well, Kiyo was mentioned in a chapter of the KKK Game for a reason. He <em>did</em> kill, we just have to figure out the details and try to figure out the safest option for us to prevent any more deaths."

"But even if we do, how did Ryoma know? He also alluded to the fact that Miu 'suspected'. What does that even mean? Does that mean that Miu knew too? How? Even if Miu did somehow know, why would she <em>target Kiyo on purpose?</em> Isn't targeting a mass murderer even more risky? It doesn't make any sense!"

"There's only one way that Miu AND Ryoma could possibly infer the fact that Korekiyo was a mass murderer. It isn't like one to randomly go up to people who you've only just met after a murder has happened and a mastermind has been revealed and say 'Hey! You know what, I'm actually a murderer!' It's either incredibly risky, since people can use that information to use you, like blackmail, or very stupid, because people will think you've gone completely bonkers. So the only way that they would have known..."

"Is the mastermind!" a tiny, cheery voice cried from down below.  Kaede had completely forgotten about Angie, who had been listening in to their whole conversation.

"How do you know that?" Kaede asked suspiciously.

"Nyahaha, silly Kaede! It's obvious, is it not? The mastermind thought that Korekiyo was in the way of their grand plans-"

"Like how you thought Kaito and Maki were in you and Atua's way to total peace," Shuichi muttered.

"Then he would have to go! Outright killing him was risky, so he or she told Miu, who was inches close to committing murder, 'Look sweetie, if you're gonna commit murder, it would be better to kill Korekiyo!' and Miu said, "Ok, ok, I'll do just that..." and she tried to! But the mastermind later went to Ryoma and said, 'I think that Miu is gonna commit murder, go check on her in the morning!' and Ryoma did just that! Then we have 2+2and BAM! we have a murder! Nyahaha! Oooh, ooh, Angie knows! Maybe the mastermind is also the person who tried to poison Kaito! Angie told Kaede and Shuichi it wasn't Angie!"

Kaede was sort of sickened at how strangely <em>enthusiastic</em> Angie looked. While her arms were bound tightly behind her back and her torso was to the chair, the Ultimate Artist was bobbing her head and kicking her feet against the chair like a giddy schoolgirl, which Kaede guessed Angie sort of was.

Shuichi kneeled down to Korekiyo's eye level. "I think he's gonna wake up soon," he tugged the zipper mask back over his mouth.

The idea of Kiyo waking up made Kaede nervous on about five different levels.

Just then, Kirumi sprinted into the cafeteria. "I am afraid you should see this," she panted, her eyes darting around the room.

"What is it?" Shuichi asked.

"I-It's Maki's lab. The Ultimate Assasin's lab."
