"Me and...that D-Degenerate male! Eeek! How dare you suggest such foolishness! I hate all degenerates!"

"Why is it foolish?" Kokichi cocked his head as if they were just having a small disagreement about a trivial matter. "Kiyo looks like he might be pretty hot underneath his mask, and hey he even looks and acts like a girl! He's basically an all-you-could-ever-want jackpot winner for people who could ever have a chance of dating Tenko!"

"I don't care! Degenerates are degenerates! Besides, I could never have my heart drawn by a creepy gimp like Korekiyo! Don't worry, my heart is forever with the ever small-and-cute Himiko!"

Korekiyo shivered. 'I don't know whether I should be offended or grateful..."

"Are Kiyo and Tenko dating or not? Gonta so confused!" Gonta scratched his head.

"Yes!" Angie and Kokichi squealed.

"No!" Kiyo intervened. "I do not need the two of you playing Cupid here , and besides, I already have someone I love,"

"Ooh! A confession in a life-threatening situation! Who is it? Kirumi maybe? You two hit it off since day 1. Or maybe Kaede?" Kokichi teased.

"Neither. My love is not in here, but rather inside of me," Kiyo resumed hugging himself, which he seemed to do a lot of.

<em>What?</em>

"Kiyo has a GIRLFRIEND?!" Angie gasped. "What marvelous news! Now Atua knows why he was so eager to escape from here! He has unfinished business!"

"We've got to get him out of here," Kiibo agreed.

<em>How low is the IQ of the conversation going to get?</em>

Kiyo rolled his eyes. "I appreciate the sentiment, but unless we solve this series of murders, none of us will ever get out of here. Perhaps we should focus on that?"

"But there is the theory," Himiko muttered. "Kiyo might be lying. He and Tenko might have something between them. Tenko has been acting really shifty around me..."

"And Kiyo is always acting shifty...Kiyo is smart enough to pull off weird tricks, like playing with the Body Discovery alarm!" Gonta added.

"Besides, Tenko gave the Athena Student Council the motive and betrayed us, right Himiko? This might be her gift to Kiyo! Atua says that lovers exchange gifts all of the time, like chocolate and roses. This might be the closest the two of them can come to romanticism."

"It would certainly be an unexpected twist," Kokichi mused. "Tenko being romantic! Of course, Kiyo is quite the kinky type, so he might have...drew her in. Well, if he did, we've just found our Miu 2.0 since she decided to get sliced! Even if they denied the theory, you've gonna admit, it's the only one we have!"

"But I discovered the body," Kiyo complained. "I was with the rest of the Athena Student Council for the bulk of the time that the murder supposedly occurred. Even if I did plan it, which I did not, I could not be executed---I was not the one who did it."

"Besides, even if Kiyo did help with the murder, there would have to be someone other than Tenko who helped with the murder for this theory. There is no one. No one without an alibi, at least." Kirumi pointed out.

"A threesome!" Kokichi feigned fainting. "Oh my!"

Kaede wanted to stalk over there right now and sock him in the jaw, but duty stopped her. "I want to hear more about the Atua Student Council's magic show. Did anyone leave in the middle?"

"No! Atua made sure every single person stayed in the hall during the amazing Himiko's Magic Show! In fact, Angie even covered the door with a black curtain so that no one could leave! "

"Himiko needed to prepare in privacy, so Angie blocked off most of the space from the gym doors to the side of the stage. All of Himiko's Magic goods were moved there," Kiibo explained. "This also prevented any of us from leaving during the Magic Show."

"N-None of you should have left in the middle of Himiko's Magic Show anyways, you degenerates!" Tenko cried. "See, Himiko? Tenko will always be on your side, whatever the degenerate males say!"

"Hmm..." Himiko nodded. Strangely enough, she looked a bit sad when Tenko said that.

"Anyways, it couldn't have been any of us because we were all there!" Gonta finished.

"Ooh, what about this, though?" Kokichi said. "Kaito kills himself while Tenko and Maki watch, then Maki kills herself while Tenko watches! It works, right?"

"Why would Tenko want to watch people killing themselves, you degenerate male! Tenko would never do such a thing! Tenko would stop Maki immediately!"

"Would you stop Kaito as well?"

"The space degenerate? Yes..."

<em>Tenko, you're not helping things at all by being so unenthusiastic about helping boys--they're gonna think you killed them and you're suspicious enough already...</em>

"What I still do not understand is how they managed to push Maki into the washing machine, "Kirumi sighed. "An assassin must hold considerable strength, and even if(and only <em>if</em> Tenko jumped her, there must have been some sort of struggle. But there wasn't,"

"Ignoring Kokichi's theory, we know that there were two people--the killer and the accomplice. Perhaps they worked together to...subdue Maki," Shuichi muttered. "They even might have tricked her into going into the storage closet somehow. One pretended to have been hurt, or having been attacked by Kaito's killer, and an emotionally unstrung Maki would have likely run in there to save him or her and find Kaito's killer,"

"She probably didn't even think about calling for help," Kiyo muttered. "Human beings can make such bad choices when faced with a serious need for revenge or retribution...our killer or killers probably understood this theory well, since they used it to draw Maki in and complete their final objective---kill her,"

"But why would they need to kill Kaito?" Gonta asked. "Would it not have been enough to knock Kaito out? If they kill Kaito, won't they leave more evidence?"

"They could just hate men..." Kokichi made a sideways glance at Tenko.

"Stop looking at me like you still suspect me, you Degenerate male!" Tenko yelled. "For the last time, I didn't kill Kaito! Or Maki!"

"If Kaito woke up while they were in the process of killing Maki and managed to escape, matters would be a lot more complicated," Kaede explained. "Besides, even if they did, lugging an unconscious body around would attract a lot of unwanted attention,"

"It would be a lot easier to just kill him," Shuichi added. "Just offer him a drink maybe, and if it was someone he didn't suspect, well... Kaito is very trusting,"

"And stupid,"

"We don't need your opinion, shortie. Shut up,"

<em>Yes! Well said, Shuichi,</em>

"Drain cleaner would probably shut down his already weak immune system completely in a matter of seconds, and be easy to clean up," Kaede added, her mind trying to find a way on how the drain cleaner could have been shoved down her friend's throat in the first place, and by whom.

<em>"No! Atua made sure every single person stayed in the hall during the amazing Himiko's Magic Show! In fact, Angie even covered the door with a black curtain so that no one could leave! "</em>

That wasn't to stop everyone from leaving, it was to stop everyone from seeing a few <em>particular</em> people leave.
