"So, explain yourself," Kaede glared at the Ultimate Artist grinning crazily at her. Gonta had tied her to a kitchen chair using some bright red rope, courtesy of Korekiyo. The process of extracting it from his research lab involved a very lengthy and unnecessarily in depth explanation of bondage culture that only Miu would probably have liked, had she still been here.

"Angie didn't do anything wrong! Angie only did what Atua said! Atua said to get rid of the bad people who were putting all the innocent, kind people in the Ultimate Academy in danger! Otherwise, this killing game would never end!"

"Well, if you really want to stop the killing game, you've got a funny way of showing it," Shuichi inched his face closer to Angie, his eyes betraying fury barely kept in check. "Why did you kill Kaito then? Wouldn't knocking him out just have sufficed?"

"This is something Angie didn't tell Himiko! Kokichi told Angie that Kaito was very very sick and dying. So Angie thought it would be even better to finish him off and send him to Atua's kingdom!"

"You mean you tried poisoning him," Kirumi pointed out. "We have proof that <em>someone</em> put daffodil extract into Kaito's proof and made his sickness even worse. That didn't work, so you resolved to use more...direct methods, correct? Like force feeding him drain cleaner,"

Once again, Angie's face turned into that expression of vague confusion.

<em>Don't be fooled by her innocent uwu face, Kaede! She's a murderer!</em>"Stop pretending you're innocent. We all know that you were the one behind this,"

"Angie really doesn't know what Kaede is talking about," Angie asserted once more. "Angie told Kaede in the Class Trial, but that wasn't Angie! Kaede is just assuming such!"

"Stop lying!" Kaede shouted. "It can only be you! No one else had any motive, and Kokichi pretty much said so to us the night before Kaito was killed! We were all in Kaito's room because we were worried about him, and Kokichi barged in and threw a bunch of daffodils at us! The only reason that he would have done that is to give us a clue, because Kokichi is an asshole and there's no way that he's going to be nice to us on purpose!"

At the edge of the table, Kokichi made a hurt face.

"I mean it," Kaede added.

Fake tears started to well in Kokichi's eyes.

"But Kokichi took back that statement and denied ever being in Kaito's room during the class trial! Besides, even if he was there, what proof is there that I had anything to do with it?"

"Kokichi," Shuichi whispered ominously from behind Kaede, "Tell Angie that you were in Kaito's room that night that he was really sick, and what you showed us,"

"NOT WITH THAT ATTITUDE I WON'T! I'M THE ONLY PERSON WHO CAN TESTIFY FOR YOU HERE, SO SHOW ME A BIT MORE RESPECT, SHUMAI!"

"Sh-Shu-Shumai? F-F-Fine. Kokichi, can you <em>please</em> tell Angie what happened in Kaito's room that night?"

"Anything for my beloved Saihara-chan!" Kokichi jumped off the edge of the table and cleared his throat. "I went to Kaito's room that room that night because I had proof of who the mastermind was!"

<em>What?</em>

<em>Too early to hope now, Kaede. The person giving you this information is known to be a horrible and notorious liar. He may just be lying to get your hopes up, and then crush them even worse again with the painful truth.</em>

"Who is it?" Kirumi asked, her excitement betrayed in her voice.

Kokichi fiddled with the straps on his straightjacket. "Well, I was <em>going</em> to tell you, but you threw me out of the room before I could even bother! It was information that was available for only a limited amount of time, so I can't tell you any more!"

Just as Kaede was weighing her options for quick premeditated murder, Monokuma sauntered into the cafeteria.

"Morning, kiddos! Congrats for finding the correct killer last night! As per tradition, here are your gifts! Tadaa! The Levistone and the Octobrush!"

As per tradition, things that clearly could be mistaken for junk in another, happier world appeared in Monokuma's paws.

Shuichi picked them up and examined them carefully. "These open the fourth floor?" he asked."Sure they do! Also, on a sort of afterthought, I'm gonna have to confiscate the KKK Game AND the Flashback Light that I gave you last time, since that information was available for only a limited amount of time, so I can't show you anymore! Toodle-pip!"

"Wh-what?!! No! " Kaede yelled. "We need to find the truth about Kiy-I mean, we need to finish the last chapter of the game and find out who the last killer and his or her circumstances! We have to figure out what to...<em>take care</em> of the whole thing!"

Monokuma turned back. "That's your problem."

"But it'll cause drama!" Kokichi offered. "Don't all crazy psychotic teddy bear headmasters love drama?"

This made the very model of a crazy psychotic teddy bear headmaster turn around and consider the Ultimates'  offer seriously. "It's correct that I due LOVE drama...but I sort of don't wanna give you the motive because forcing a confession out of someone is a lot more fun than just being spoon-fed the information---tell you what, I think I'll just wait for the drama to ensue with the next motive! Bye!"

Their efforts were futile as Monokuma stalked out of the room. Behind their disappointed faces, Angie grinned.

"Atua is unfortunate to say the only thing as Monokuma! We should just force a confession out of Kiyo. Saves a lot of time and persuasion power!"

<em>We should just force a confession out of Kiyo.</em>

That was wrong. At least, that was inconsistent.

"Angie," Shuichi asked. "How do you know the last killer is Kiyo? You told us that you didn't have enough Monotokens to unlock the final chapter! Therefore, there's no way that anyone from the Atua Student Council could know the identity of the last killer!"

"Angie did unlock the final chapter, but only a very small part. I-It just said that the degenerate male had a beautiful sister who was very sick all the time! It's nothing that we don't know already, thanks to him advertising it to everyone he met, it's pretty much part of his introduction." Tenko clarified.

And at that, there was really nothing else to do. Kaede shifted her attention to the tall, lanky frame leaning against the kitchen wall, blending excellently in the shadows as he was so good at.

However, there were no shadows anymore. All the light was shining on him, everyone waiting for him to say something, <em>anything</em>.

"Well?" Tenko prompted. "Hurry up and tell us, degenerate! You've been abnormally quiet this whole time, haven't you?"

No response.

"Wait. There's a faster way." Kokichi sneaked up closer to Kiyo, and without warning, tugged his mask down.

What was underneath...
