You and Tanjiro have been walking for awhile now. Suddenly you heard a girl cry in pain.
"I beg of you! Please stop!"
Looks like we're here. You thought as you unsheathed your sword.
You walked quietly to where Rui was torturing his 'sister', making sure to hide your prescence from the demon. Tanjiro stumbled after you, breathing way too heavily, causing Rui to notice him. You stood unmoving in the shadows, he hasn't seen you yet.
"What are you looking at? This isn't some show, you know." He said.
"Wha-what are you doing?" Tanjiro asked in horror, "Aren't you two allies?"
Rui frowned, "Allies? Don't put us in the same category as something that flimsy. We're family. We're joined by a powerful bond. And besides, this is between me and my sister. So don't interfere. Or I'll carve you up."
"Your wrong. Whether it's your family or an ally, if you have a strong bond between you, then either one shoul dbe just as precious. Calling it flimsy, if you're not related by blood... That's not true at all! Not only that, but those who have a strong bond give off the scent of trust! But all I'm picking up from you two is the scent of terror, hatred, and repulsion! That's not what you call a bond!"
While Tanjiro and Rui were having their argument, You had moved behind the demon.
Tanjiro drew his sword.
"You..." Rui opened his mouth to speak, but you greeted from right behind him. "Hi there!"

His reflexes were faster than any other demon you've fought before. He whirled around and attempted to cut you to pieces with his threads.
"Y/n-chan!" Tanjiro yelled.
But you were faster, you jumped out of the way and managed to cut through Rui's threads without your sword breaking. You shouted, "Stay back Tanjiro!"
Rui was shocked that you were able to cut his threads, "Don't think you can beat me, a member of-"
"Yeah, you're the lower moon five, one of Muzan's favorites. Whatever."
Rui was angered, his threads turned red, "Blood demon art: Murderous Eye Basket."
