Context: A trip to the beach that turns into something else.

Alex stood at shore looking at John. "You okay?" He asked, taking his slightly shaking hand. "I-I'm f-fine!" He said. John lifted him up, causing Alex to giggle. "Hey!" He yelled out. John ran into the water with him. Alex got out of John's grasp then took his hands and spun around. John smiled at the sight of Alex being happy in the water. After so long and many years of trauma. Alex smiled back at John.

"How long has it been since you've been in the water?" John asks, watching Alex splash around. "A few years maybe?" Alex was mesmerized by the water, despite how hot it was, the water was still nice and cold. Alex dragged his tail through the cool salty waves. John watched Alex be happy for the first time in the water. Alex looked back at him, a crab clamped onto his ankle and a seagull was attacking him. Alex snorted. Alex went back to land and got the crab off his ankle. "You okay Jack?" He asked, chuckling. "I'm fine!" John yelped, swatting the seagull away.

John and Alex sat on the towel, John wrapping his arm around Alex, watching the sunset on the horizon. John glanced over to Funtime who gave a thumbs up, she had her camera around her neck. "Hey Alex, I'm feeling tired, you wanna take in the water before we head home?" Alex nodded, standing and running to the water. He giggled. "Jack?" He asked, looking back. John stood there, hiding something behind his back. "Lex I can't do this." John said, taking a breath, knowing he'll scare the shit out of Alex. "Do what?" Alex was confused. "I can't go another day with you as my boyfriend." He said, looking down slightly. Alex frowned.

"W-What..?" He got worried. 

"So I want you to be my husband instead."

"..What?" Alex felt hot tears in his eyes. It all got clear when John got on one knee, he covered his mouth in shock with a shaky hand, beginning to cry. "Alexander, I love you with my whole heart, and you are one of the most amazing people in my life, so.. Alexander Hamilton, will you marry me?"he asked. Alex took his hands away and nodded. "Y-Yes.." he finally squeaked out. John immediately taking him into a hug.

Both of them were glad Alex didn't say no to this.

Alex and John had been married for two years. All of a sudden Alex's period was late. They were overjoyed when they found out they were having a baby..

They named her Lily.
