Cara's mind began to race, searching for a solution. Steve eyed the situation as well, mind racing just as fast as Cara's was. An agent burst through the door suddenly, Bucky quickly taking him down and closing the door again, giving Cara an angry look. She knew he was just as frustrated as the rest of them were by the problem before them. The fact that at any moment another agent or even Rumlow could come through the door, wasn't helping. Suddenly Tony turned around snapping his fingers.

"Maximoff, we need you on our location ASAP. Bring C-3PO with you, I think I have an idea." Tony said quickly.

"We're on our way." Wanda responded quickly.

Steve shifted toward Tony, putting his shield on his back as he did.

"Stark, what's the plan?" Steve asked.

"Well, just a running theory here-" Tony began.

"A theory?! You're betting their safety on a guess?" Steve interrupted in surprise.

"Oh, Tony come on." Cara said disapprovingly.

"AS I WAS SAYING- Maximoff should be able to use her powers to contain the blast and the pressure plates under Wilson and Romanoff just long enough for us to quickly get them out of there." Tony said.

"Yeah in theory. Also in theory it doesn't work and everyone's ass blows up." Rhodey added.

"... there's easily a hundred theories or what could happen." Tony said.

The whole room groaned in unison as Tony argued his defense. Just then Wanda and Vision walked through the door. Wanda stood confidently looking around the room at each of them before her gaze finally landing on Tony,

"I can do it." She said confidently.

"Great! That means you two and the terminator should clear out of this area. We got it from here, help the others clear the base and stick to the plan. We will let you know when it's time to pull out." Tony said.

Cara shifted toward Tony this time, agitated.

"What do you mean clear out? We need to get them out of there because once Wanda releases her powers-" Cara started.

"Then everything explodes. Which is why I need all 3 new parents out of this room." Tony interrupted.

Now Cara's brow was furrowed, she was pissed.

"You're seriously going to tell me that because I'm a parent now that I need to be out of harms way like I can't do my job?? The job comes with risks we all know that! I can do the job and be a parent Tony! You've trained me, we've been on countless missions together you know-" Cara began to argue.

"I know you're capable Barton! We're all capable! That's why we are a team! All of us can work together like different parts of a machine! And right now I need you three to clear out the rest of this base on the way back to the quinjet! Because once Wanda controls these explosives, Rhodey and I are blasting through this glass, grabbing Wilson and Romanoff and continuing right through the wall out of here. Vision is in charge of getting Wanda out of here before it blows!" Tony said angrily.

Cara was taken aback. No matter how many times she had pushed Tony she had never actually struck a nerve with him. This time, it seemed she had.

"So don't you dare ever think that I think you can't do your job! If I did, your ass would never leave that tower!" Tony added.

"Tony-" Steve started.

"No, he's right. We've wasted enough time already." Cara said turning to leave, Steve and Bucky not far behind.
