"You see, this is a school for elementals, like us. There's wind, water, earth, plant, and fire. Each elemental goes to different classes. For example, I'm a water elemental, so I go to harness the power of water. But some classes different elementals take together. Like potions and sword fighting." I gasped at the last part. Brooke nodded. "It may sound strange, but there is a reason why they added those two. I just can't tell you," Brooke said then sighed. "Anyway," she said, reaching for our bags. She pulled out a small device that looked a lot like a phone. "This is what you use to do...um...well, basically everything. Your card and this are the two things never to lose. This small device controls the card scanners. It also has your textbooks and...well...everything else you need. It has instructions on how to use it." Brooke pulled out two pieces of paper. "The rest is on the device. Back to the school. Look," she said, pointing to a button on the device. "This is what you press to get the school's card scanner. The first thing you do once you are through the door is find the other wind elementals. It shouldn't be too hard to find them. You have one main instructor, who does the teaching about wind powers. Others teach everything else. Now to the rooms. After you graduate, you can choose to leave, or to stay. Most choose to stay." I glanced around the room. Staying. No doubt about it. I glanced at Sky to see if she agreed. She nodded. "There are eight years at the school," Brooke continued. Eight years?! Wow. "I heard they are really fun. I'm on my first year, like you," Brooke said. Me and Sky stared at her in awe. She hasn't even been here that long and she knows so much! Brooke giggled at us then looked at her device. "I must go," she said, "my roommates will be missing me." She turned and left.
