After we got to the room, I was feeling anxious. Not exactly sure why. Lately I had felt like I was in a cage. I wasn't even sure what I was anymore, was I still even a Wind? That's all I wanted, just to go back. Back before we were special, before death had wiped out so many. Back when we felt strong, and were looked at as powerful Winds that could flip a 13-year-old guy. When we were... normal.
"Hey Misty," I called out, "I think I'm going to go on a walk." She was an optimist, of course she would want to go, but I wanted to do this alone.
"Okay, and I understand that you want to go alone." Oh. Fail on my behalf.
"How'd you know? Are you using your kehidupan powers to read my mind? I still don't know how to control mine." I asked her in wonder.
"Nah, I just know you too well." She responded."
"Okay then." I silently closed the door and walked out.
I was lost deep in thought when I heard someone walking slowly towards me. I turned to see a man in a dark black suit giving me a menacing glare. I grabbed my helper out of my pocket. 10:27. Great!
