Just after we had slain the monster, Misty's and my swords jammed in between it's head and neck, more instructors began flooding in with a sea of reinforcements. All of them had dark sunglasses on (probably to avoid the monster's eyes) and were heavily armed with weaponry. They all looked shocked to see Mist and I standing on the rhino-like beast with our swords impaling it. After a great deal of silence, Mr. Klinge began clapping, followed by the rest of the instructors. Storm sent us a nod of approval, his blonde hair rustled like it was the day we met him. I looked around to find that the cafeteria floor was littered with dead bodies. It stunk of death as well. No matter how loud the teachers clapped, no joy was in my heart. Today was a solemn day.
Later that week, it was announced that the school was hosting a funeral for all those who died as well as an honorary service for Misty, Storm, and me for fighting so bravely on Friday. Although Storm did not slay the monster like Mist and I did, his older brother, Gust, had died, so Mist and I insisted that it must also be for him. Here, we were told, we would be given the monster blood and receive our powers back, as well as countless others and the kehidupan power. Whoever else lost their powers and survived were also told to arrive. Before we knew it, it was the day.
