Fern had heard what the message from Evergreen had to say

To Mushroom ~ So you may not believe me but apparently I'm a part of some prophecy so I'm heading out for who knows how long to gather the creatures and save Palera ~ your little sister Evergreen

This was the perfect time to launch her plan to become Queen of the Rosewings

I well be as great as Queen Lily she thought happily

Tho this Prophecy dose it have something to do with that StormTalon coming here?

She sat in a tree in the center of town that she could overlook the whole village from her point in the branches

Do Rosewings still live on there old island before Queen Lily brought them there? Or had they left because something had forced them to like a dangerous other tribe or creature

Somedays her mind was filled to the brim with questions about the past the present and the future of Plaera

She as the next leader of the Rosewings was going to make the Rosewings the strongest tribe on Plaera

"Fern your up there watching the village again aren't you?" Lichen called up "

So if I am" she asked as she flew down

"Isn't that also called spying and is seriously rude?" Lichen asked

"I just want to make sure no dragon needs anything and if they need help I can know right away. So it's for a good reason Lichen" Fern told him

"Hey Lichen wanna check out my new.....oh fireweed forgot you are blind" Stump called

"I can use my plantseeing to look at I'm guessing your new carving" Lichen replied

"Cool I've already shown Bloom now I can show you" Stump said and smiled

Stump was like Bloom a lot if she's always the one that he goes to first

Herb was carrying a few baskets of fruit into town but he tripped on a root a fell and the fruit scattered everywhere

She ran over to help him

gather up all the fallen fruit

"You okay?" Fern asked

"Yeah I'm fine just didn't notice the root there" Herb answered

They picked up the fruit

"So what would you think if we got Kings and Queens again?" Fern asked

"It'd be cool I guess but I had heard that Ash only made the council because he was overwhelmed with work" Herb answered

"Also have you noticed that Mushroom has like this huge crush on the former princess Kagalay?" Herb asked

"I have not" Fern answered

So that's who the someone else is

Herb looked confused for a moment

"You....your remembering your parents death aren't you?" Herb asked

No that was not what she was thinking about...oh islands of Plaera why did he have to bring that up

"Yeah I was...." Fern lied

She rather not tell him she had a crush on Mushroom then he'd be like Goldenrod and be all sympathetic and she didn't want to do that all over again

"Sometimes now that I've got my own dragonets to care for I pity my parents from how hard dragonets can be to deal with" Herb commented
