'The Princess continues to struggle with daily chores around the manor. The royalty in her blood makes it difficult for her to find the motivation to complete them. I find it nearly impossible to punish her. I know that the insolence isn't her fault. She will learn how to adjust, I'm sure of it. Her lack of enthusiasm for her jobs is more than made up for by her passion for learning. She is showing signs that I may be able to teach her to read soon. If only Armitage displayed the same Sith fire inside that she does...'

(Warnings: I hate to spoil anything. So, I'll just say, If you don't like the knights, you might not like this one. If you do like the knights, I hope you enjoy this. That's all...Carry on.)

It felt like a nightmare.

The farther that you and Kylo traveled away from the only nearby form of civilization, the Hux estate, and into the unknown of the wild forest, the more that the situation became real to you.

As dull as your life had been, it hadn't been threatening. If you did your job, your day would go smoothly. There was never a question of whether you'd get hurt or taken advantage of.

This was unpredictable. Even within the walls of the manor, when you were alone with Kylo, you didn't feel safe. That feeling of apprehension only increased to a dangerous level now that you were alone with him in a land without clear rules or expectations:

Now that you were alone with the ruthless knight who owned you.

Kylo found it hard to believe that what was happening was real, only he didn't feel as if this were a nightmare; this was an amazing dream.

Before he stumbled onto Hux's estate, he'd been fulfilling a quest that was extremely difficult for him to prove his loyalty to the Empire. With you by his side, he knew that if he returned you to Palpatine, not only would he be rewarded, but he'd also be pardoned from his current task.

He was the luckiest man in the world to have read Brendol's journals and get you alone.

You were the key to his future.

And because he was so thrilled to have you in his possession, Kylo wasn't thinking about how you might feel. You were hardly a person to him right now. You were an icon, a symbol of the Sith.

All Kylo cared about was keeping you safe until you were in the Emperor's hands again.

You shifted in his arms, feeling suffocated by how close that he was to you and the fact that all you could see around you were trees. You had the urge to run, to explore, and get away from the man behind you.

The sun was lowering behind the trees around you, blanketing the atmosphere with a layer of a hazy darkness.

"Look around, little dove," Kylo murmured in your ear, tugging slightly on the leash that was around your neck so that you would tilt your head in the direction that he wanted you to look.
