Quirk
Shadow: Can travel through shadows and damage people by messing or hurting their shadows. What happens to their shadow happens to their physical body. Can move any object by moving the shadow.

Eyes turn completely black when in use. Can see in the dark.

Down side: body strain, headaches, and disconnection from things around them when used to much.

Y/n POV 18 years old Third year of school.

I sat at the lunch table.

"Hey guys." I said my eyes lingering on Izuku a little too long.

"Hey Y/n." He said his voice deeper then it was then in our first year.

"Are you ready for that mission tomorrow?" Ochaco said and I nodded.

"Yeah I'm nervous tho this guy is extremely dangerous." I said concerned for our safety.

"Y/n's right. This is our first mission without any teachers this can be extremely dangerous for everyone involved. We have to have each other's backs." Izuku explained and Ochaco sighed her happy mood gone.

"Yeah I guess that's true." She sighed putting her head on her hand. Izuku leaned across the table and grabbed her hand in comfort.

"Don't be so down Ochaco. You can still be excited about it it's just dangerous." He said sweetly to her. I sighed watching them for some reason my heart stinging a little.

I sighed to myself and slowly ate my food.

Little did I know how much this mission was going to ruin my life.

After school I went home to my parents and my little brother. The teachers let us go home to be with our family before the mission.

"How was school sweetheart." My mom asked when I walked through the door.

"It was great mom." I said as my dad walked in the living room from the kitchen.

"That's good. You graduate soon and you'll be a full on hero." He said and walked over to me. He put a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm proud of you sweetheart." He said a hand on my shoulder and I smiled.

"Thank you dad." I said.

"We know you have a mission with your friends tomorrow. Please be careful." My mom said and I nodded at her.

"I will. Now I need a shower and I should probably get to bed early for tomorrow." I said about to go upstairs.

"Ok I will make you some dinner then." Mom said getting up.

"Thank you mom." I said before going upstairs for a shower.

Early the next morning.

I ran downstairs my hero costume on. I grabbed breakfast and said by to my parents and my little brother before leaving.

I got on a train to meet with Ochaco, Izuku, and Asui.

When at the meeting spot Izuku told us the plan he had and we went to the location.

We all hid on top of a where house. Soon the guy arrived.

"Y/n go ghost." Izuku whispered and I did as he said going into the shadows and moving through it to the guy blow.

When in the guys shadow I turn my specially made ear peace on so they could hear what he was saying.

"Sir do we really have to do it this way? Isn't there another way?" A guy said.

"This is the only way to get my power stronger and kill every kid in that damn school." The main target said.

"Ok I'm going down back me up guys." Izuku said in the ear peace.

"Hey!" I heard Izuku yell.

"What the?" The main target said and I quietly came out the other villain's shadow and wrapped my arms around his neck from behind.

"You are under arrest for homicide and attempted murder." Izuku growled as the guy struggled in my hold. I used my own shadow to put the quirk canceling cuffs on the guy I had. The boss was to beefy for just cuffs so we had to knock him out to get him into full body lock down.

I knocked the guy in my arms out and Asui came and took him. Izuku and the big guy started fighting.

(I'm not good at writing fight scenes In my opinion so bear with me.)

We watched from the side lines as his support. But the guy started to use his quirk. Destroying the earth around him and throwing it at Izuku.

He had it all under control until a big bolder hit him. We quickly jumped in. The others going to him and thanks to the sun angle I held the shadow of the even bigger bolder he made back. With black eyes I looked back to them.

"Guys is he ok?" I asked and they nodded. Unfortunately that made me lose my concentration. I felt my quirk slip from my control and the guy screamed with all his strength throwing it at me. I was stunned for a second and everyone screamed at me.

I snapped out of it and leaned to run but it was to late. It was too close. It caught my arm and leg and took me with it it crushed my leg and arm between it and a brick building and the ground. I screamed at the top of my lungs my head going dizzy.

Blood seeped out from underneath the rock. I of course cried. The only thought was I just lost my arm and leg. I looked over to my team for help but they were leaving. My eyes widened.

"No guys please help me! Guys please! Don't leave me!" I yelled pleading for help as I just knew I was bleeding out.

When I couldn't see them I just screamed my lungs out as I tried to get out from underneath. It just hurt so I just stayed. I just watched as the big villain got closer to me laughing like a mad man. I was scared of course but in those few seconds I just accepted my death. I closed my eyes waiting to get smashed to death.

"Smash!" I heard Izuku yell and he had jumped in and punched the guy in the face making him back away from me. That's when I saw our back up. Bakugo and Todoroki stepped in and distracted the guy. Izuku ran over and got on a knee next to me.

"Y/n hey stay awake can you hear me?" He asked holding my face I nodded with a sad smile with tears running down my face.

"Ok good please stay awake for me." He said as he looked in his belt pouches for something. He got a elastic ties.

"This might hurt. A ambulance is already on the way." He said and I just nodded in a daze. He went to my smashed arm that was still stuck and underneath my shoulder he put the tie to cut off blood flow. He got another one out.

"I'm sorry about this but it needs to be done." He said and I wasn't there slowly losing consciousness. He went to my leg and my upper thigh. He wrapped the tie around it tightly doing the same. My head was about to fall as my eyes closed. Izuku then slapped me in the face.

"Hey stay awake Y/n please." He said and I nodded.

"I'll try." I whispered and he got up.

"This is definitely going to hurt." He said and put his hands on the bolder.

"1.......2........3." He said and pushed it off as quickly as he could. I screamed a little and he quickly picked me up. He was extremely gentle with me. My head on his chest I tried to focus on his beating heart as the world around me got quiet. Muffled crying, talking, and screaming all around me. Not to long we heard sirens and Izukus warmth left my body and I passed out.
