Ch.20

Me and Izuku talked as we walked in his home. We went out for a while. I took him to dinner to thank him for everything he has done for me.

Of course he said i didn't need to but I insisted. So he demanded that we go to his place and have a few friendly drinks.

We walked in and I sat on the couch. He walked over and gave me a drink. I took it and he sat a good distance away.

"Thanks for dinner Y/n. You really didn't need to pay I know that job doesn't pay much." He said and I sighed.

"It's fine Izuku. You can pay me back somehow later." I said taking a sip of my drink.

"I will definitely do that." He said and we continued to talk about things. He mostly talked about work.

Until Ochaco came home. I turned around to look at her as she came in.

"Hi Ochaco." I said happily. She glared at me.

"What are you doing here?" She said and I was a little confused.

"Just hanging out." I said and she narrowed her eyes at me.

"Oh really?" She growled.

"Yeah." I said not understanding why she was mad.

"You two have been spending a lot of time together." She said and crossed her arms.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked glancing at Izuku. She angrily glared at Izuku.

"Yeah it is." She growled at him.

"We are just talking." I said and she looked at me.

"You know Y/n I really don't understand why any of us still bother with you." She growled.

"What?" I asked confused.

"We are all hero's you're just a civilian. We shouldn't bother with you because all you are going to do is use us when your life is in danger." She growled and I was hurt.

"What do you." She cut me off.

"Oh don't do that what do you mean shit." She growled.

"Ochaco." Izuku growled as a warning.

"Don't Ochaco me. I'm right she's just a crippled civilian that everyone has pity for and only hangs out with her because they feel bad. Our life's are more important then hers." She growled. I just looked at my drink.

"Ochaco." Izuku growled at her and moved closer. He put his drink down and a hand on my shoulder. To hear my best friend say that made my heart hurt. I guess I deserved it. I tried to keep my tears in my eyes. I sighed and put my drink on the coffee table. I pushed izukus hand off and got up. I looked at her in her eyes.

"You sound just like my mother." I said and pushed her out the way. I walked over to the door.

"Wait Y/n." She went to say but I opened the door and walked out. Immediately when the door closed I heard Izuku yelling at her defending me. I smiled sadly before I left completely.

When I got home the tears wouldn't stop. A long time ago before my parents split I dated a hero. He reminded me of Aizawa and he was really sweet. Slept a lot but sweet. He didn't make fun of me and said that what happened to me made me who I am.

My mother got upset saying that I was being pathetic. Clinging onto the past because I couldn't let go. She also said that the relationship was based on pity. He was actually the one who took my virginity. We were happy until he had enough of my mother's insults saying that being a hero is stressful enough and we broke up on good terms. She always got onto me if I couldn't do something myself.
