Y/n POV

I woke up and flinched at the bright lights. I closed my eyes a headache setting in. I then heard a click. I opened my eyes and the lights were off. I looked at the door seeing Bakugo.

"You need anything before I leave?" He whispered and I shook my head no.

"Ok then I'll leave you two alone." He said and walked out. You two? I was confused and looked around. I then saw Izuku asleep holding my hand. I smiled softly and moved my hand waking him up.

"Hm oh y/n you're awake!" He said excitedly and I slapped my hand over his mouth.

"Hm." He looked at my hand and then my face.

"Oh I'm sorry." He whispered moving my hand out the way.

"Are you ok? How do you feel?" He asked softly.

"I have a headache a really bad one. What happened?" I asked leaning back on the pillow.

"Well you had a heart attack that was followed by a stroke caused by mostly stress. They did find a tumor just a small one and had it removed as soon as they found it." He explained as he held my hand.

"Wait so." I said and took my hand out his touching the bandaged part of my head not feeling any hair.

"They put a bandage on it soon after they got you in here first." He said and tears came to my eyes because the headache and the fact I don't have any hair on that side.

"I'm ugly now aren't I? Is my face slumped? Oh no it is isn't it don't tell me." I said and he chuckled.

"No my love well maybe your lip is a little bit but your still beautiful to me." He whispered stroking my cheek gently.

"Is it bad?" I whispered and he shook his head messing with my bottom lip.

"Nope just makes it look a little thicker nothing no one that doesn't know you would notice." He said and I nodded but still feeling a little insecure.

"I'll go ask a nurse for some headache meds." He said kissing my cheek and walking out.

I waited patiently until him and a nurse came back. She checked some things as Izuku stood next to my bed.

"Everything looks to be ok. Here is something for any pain you are feeling." She said and I jumped and grabbed her hand.

"No no pain killers I can't take them." I said and she looked at me and then Izuku.

"Y/n I already told her they are putting you on one that's not addictive." Izuku said and I let go of the lady.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

"It's fine most overdose survivors freak out like that." She said and I didn't reply. She left and Izuku sat down and turned the TV on all the lights still off. He turn the volume down and looked at me.

"It's not too loud is it?" He said and I shook my head no.

"That's good if you need to rest you can I'm not going anywhere." He said softly and I reached for his hand he held it and watched the TV.

Of course my eyes were getting heavy probably from the pain killer. Right when my head fell to the side the door slammed open making us both jump.

"You bitch! How dare you take the attention away from me! I'm pregnant and everyone just can't shut up about you being in the hospital!" Ochaco yelled at me looking angry. Izuku got up and grabbed her gently pushing her out.

"Leave." He growled in a threatening tone that I've never heard before. Apparently neither has Ochaco she looked at him in shock. She just stood there so he slammed the door in her face and locked it.

He turned around and looked at me sighing. He walked back over and went back to how he was.

"Just ignore her you need rest not stress." He said calmly holding my hand gently.

"Are you ok?" I asked softly as he played with my fingers.

"No to be honest but that's a conversation for a different time. Rest Princess you need it." He said kissing my hand. I smiled softly at him even tho he wasn't looking at me. My head fell to the side as I looked at his fluffy curly hair.

"I love you." I whispered to him.

"I love you more." He whispered back not looking at me but looking at the TV. I then took his advice and fell asleep.

I woke up a little later to a nurse bringing me food. She was doing her best not to wake Izuku up which I thought was off.

"Here is your food. It is actually really good today for hospital food." She whispered and I looked at her confused.

"Why are you whispering?" I asked her.

"Oh well your boyfriend has been awake almost ever since you got here so I don't want to wake him. He is the number one hero and everyone's health here matters even your visitors." She explained and I looked at Izuku who was leaning against the bed his head on his arm. I sighed as she walked out.

I ate my food and then pushed the table away. I then woke Izuku up.

"Hm? Huh? You ok?" He said half asleep.

"I'm ok how about you get in bed with me and sleep." I said and he shook his head.

"No you need all the room you need to be comfortable." He said and I sighed.

"I'd be more comfortable in you were cuddling me." I said smiling at him. I was lying of course this bed was small and already uncomfortable. But recently with him trying to balance work his wife and me he has been sleeping more and I'm uncomfortable positions and I just wanted him to relax with me.

"You sure?" He asked and I nodded.

"Of course now come on." I said moving over and moving a few things that were hooked up to me. He lazily took his shoes off and climbed in bed. I didn't want to lay on my side because of my head so he laid his head on my chest and held my waist. I played with his hair.

"Thanks." He whispered and I smiled.

"Of course your health is important also." I said hearing him snore softly. I giggled rubbing his back.

"Maybe even more important then mine."
