The Plan ( Y/N x monkey kid universe)

ACT VIII: SHADOWS AND TEARS

                 You woke up again. You kept getting the same horrible nightmare, this time you saw how you had hurt everyone. They got worse, resulting in less sleep. You didn't tell anyone about these, not even your brothers, you smiled less, and whenever you thought about the mayor, you still felt uneasy. No one questioned it. You got ready for the day, the more you spent time with everyone the more attached you got to them, so you stopped showing up as much. You were going to go out the window, but you looked to the sky and saw something you've never seen before.

               It was a... shadow? You don't really know. But it looked vaguely like Monkey King. Last time you checked, he couldn't do that. Suddenly you saw a flash as a monkey blast it away, it was weird too, because it looked almost exactly like the shadow. You saw it talking to MK, the same uneasy feeling came back from when you met the mayor. You were almost out the window to talk to him, but they both already disappeared. You ran down the stairs and told everyone about what you saw, you had said they were nearby so it wasn't suspicious. Everyone was worried.

               You guys spent the whole day planning on what you all were going to do about this. The doorbell rang and Pigsy shouted, "We're closed today!" you all heard a shallow laugh along with a sly voice, "That's such a shame, I was going to thank you. But oh well." you turned around and looked wide-eyed at the monkey you saw from earlier. Everyone grew silent as they realized who it was. "And it was very rude of you to spy on me and my new student." he said looking directly at you. Your stomach twisted, and the horrible feeling came back.

              You stepped back and he chuckled. His shadow moved and two more of him appeared. The two attacked all of you, while the "real" one burned your work. When he finished he backed away as the clones came back. With a smug look on his face he spoke with venom dripping from every word, "Can't have you ruin my plan, now can we?" he laughed, throwing his head back as he disappeared into the shadows. You recognized him as someone you and your brothers tried messing with, you were all beat up.

            His taunting laughter echoed around the room as you all stood, dumbfounded. Tang broke the silence by shouting with panic, "OUR WORK!" shoot you forgot. You all looked at it, and started panicking. You all were disappointed and sad. Mei had calmed you all down with a simple sentence, "MK can deal with this. I mean he IS the Monkey Kid. And if things get tough Monkey King will help him." you still were on edge, he was tough, but she's right, he can handle it. Then why did you still feel hurt?

              MK came home, looking worn out, you all jumped up and went up to hug him. You were all telling him what happened. You were all practically sobbing. He had sat you down. He explained in great detail what happened, the fight, the lesson, the usual.

                You were just glad nothing horrible happened.
