It was a normal day assuming that you were doing the bidding of all who asked. You were an empty machine and could feel yourself drift away slowly. Every once in a while you stopped thinking, stopped feeling, like an empty husk with only the outer layer. It was harder and harder not to cater to the bone lady's thoughts. Right now you were taking a stroll around the spider queen's lair looking for work, your body was already worn out and badly damaged, but no one else knew, not even the husk. It almost seemed like all the pain of a completely different person, you felt and they couldn't care less. It was unbearable the exhaustion you felt but the husk never gained, you started to lose hope, i mean, even if you do make it out of LBD's control, you'll still be considered as a traitor and a destroyer. And if that didn't kill you, then the exhaustion will.
The thoughts consumed your every waking moment, every time you looked up you only saw a screen of what was happening. But it felt like watching a totally different person, the tips of your body would turn more blue every day, signifying the use of the husk. You helped Staynax clean some stuff up, by his orders. You did most of the work, hurting your sore and bruised body more and more, the husk however did not change its efficiency and effort, making it seem normal. You heard a scream, one that you knew all too well, MK. A rumble followed after as Stynax ran to the scream, you involuntarily followed, feeling your feet get hurt from running and the ground. Syntax stood in his place, frozen, it was MK and the queen fighting. He pointed at you and said, "GO WARN THE OTHERS!" it was your orders to protect the spiders but also do whatever they wished, so your husk went to warn the others.
The husk ran with their hands limp, your body was shutting down. You started to panic and the husk noticed the lack of arm performance and ran faster. You walked into the main room and stood, breathing quiet breaths before speaking softly, "the Queen is under attack." you hadn't heard your real voice in so long, it echoed through the void as you tried to hold onto the one thing you were convinced you had left of you. The others rushed past you to the queen, it was just you and the mayor with LBD. the mayor and her exchanged words, laughing softly at the conversation. Your husk stood there still, without orders, useless. Soon you knew you would collapse and fall from exhaustion. The mayor had snapped his hands in front of your face and with a toothy smile he said, "LOOK ALIVE Y/N! We need to be ready to serve when we're needed." The husk's eyes were open wider upon command and straightened its back.
He laughed at the blind obedience and looked past you, frowning. You wanted to see it but the husk would only move a little. WAIT, it moved! For you! The body must be so weak it's giving back control! You'll still be very exhausted but you'll be free! You started to get excited until you saw the mayor not too far from you beat the absolute crap out of Stynax. You turned fully to see it, and upon LBD's orders, joined the fight. You were in no condition to fight and were beat easily, like a ragdoll you were thrown aside and stayed there, the husk physically couldn't take anymore orders anymore. You had no use now.
And slowly, you were illuminating a blue glow.
