Beast 08: Howlings and Growlings

♚Princess's point of view ♚

"Nag short cut lang ako miss."

"Kuya paki para na lang po sa tabi." Sabi ko. Bigla kasi akong kinabahan. May short cut ba sa tabi ng gubat? Saka ang lapit na nga nang condo samin tapos may short cut pa? "Manong paki para na lang po" pag uulit ko sa sinabi ko nang hindi parin niya ihinto ang sasakyan.

"Kailangan kitang dalhin sa Alpha kaya tumahimik ka!" Sigaw sakin nung driver. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Anong Alpha ang pinagsasabi niya?!

"Ihinto mo tong sasakyan!! Ahh!!" Sigaw ko habang pinaghahampas siya gamit ang sarili kong mga kamay.

"Tumigil ka!" Saka niya kinuha ang dalawang kamay ko. Kinuha niya mula sa likuran niya ang isang posas at ipi-nosas ang isang kamay ko sa isang metal bar. Ganun rin ang ginawa niya sa isang kamay ko.

"Pakawalan mo ko!!!" Sigaw ko habang nagpupumiglas.

"Tumigil ka!!" Saka niya nilagyan ng duck tape ang bibig ko. Hindi na ako nagpumilit pang makawala dahil alam kong wala rin iyong magagawa. Patuloy lang sa pagtulo ang aking mga luha dahil sa takot at kaba.

Anong gagawin nila sakin? Sino bang Alpha ang tinutukoy niya? Si Ace ba? Galit ba siya sakin dahil sa picture na nakalagay sa bulletin board? Papatayin na ba niya ako? Sasalvagin? Ibebenta ang kidney ko? Mahal ko pa tung buhay ko.

God! Help me please! Somebody, help.

Naramdaman ko ang mabilis na pag andar ng sasakyan. Halos lumipad na kami sa bilis. Ano bang problema niya? Atat na ba si Ace na patayin ako?

☎Phone rings☎

"Hello Alpha?" Sagot nung driver sa kabilang linya.

"Yes Alpha I have her. We're on our way. Malapit na kami."

☎call ends☎

Ilang minuto ring katahimikan ang natapos. Hindi na ako umimik pa at nagpumiglas. Wala rin iyong pupuntahan pa. But I'm just curious about the Alpha that his talking about. Sabi nga nila, 'curiosity kills the cat' so I can't help my self to ask who the hell is the Alpha he's talking about. Is it Ace?

"Hmmm hmm hmm hmn."

I wanted to kill my self for trying to talk. How could I? Naka duck tape ang bibig ko. I'm so stupid.

He looked at me confused. I mentally laugh when his eyebrows met. He looked like an idiot trying to let something out.

"Hmm hmm hhmmmn" I mentally laugh at my self. I was just humming what I wanted to say. How can he understand? He's not a hummingbird.

But seriously, I've managed to laugh at myself in spite of my situation.

He knotted his eyes habang tinatanggal ang duck tape sa bibig ko. I winced. Parang pati balat ko nasama sa duck tape.

"Sino bang Alpha ang tinutukoy mo?" I curiously asked. He just gave me a cold stare.

"You'll know soon as we get there." He answered with a cold and baritone voice. I almost got my furs stand up with his voice. Almost. It's so terrifying but it can't make me terrified.

I mentally rolled my eyes at his answer. I asked nicely and yet he didn't answer me back nicely. Is that how he treat people?

I just place my eyes outside the window. All I can see is trees. No houses, no people, no establishments. It's already dark outside at tanging buwan na lang ang nagbibigay ng liwanag sa madilim na gabi.

The tree branches dance with the strong wind. The crows are looking at our moving car intensively. They are letting out an irritating sound that irritates my ears. Sa sobrang tinis nito ay halos mabasag ang aking ear drums.

I was shock when my eyes caught a pair of deep blue ocean eyes hiding in the dark forest. Sinundan ko ito ng tingin. It was looking at me. It looks familiar. It's like I have seen them before but I cannot remember.

I hesitate at the thought and the dead butterflies start flying inside my stomach again. It was the dead feeling that lives again.

Is that even possible?

"We're here." I nearly shriek in shock. I was occupied with the thought and then bigla na lang siyang magsasalita. Nakakagulat.

I look outside and I was surprised when we were already in front of a mansion. It was so huge. I wonder kung ilang tao ang nakatira jan and who the hell owned it. Bakit naman kaya nila naisipang magtayo ng mansyon sa isang liblib na lugar?

Tinangal niya ang posas sa aking mga kamay. I winced when I felt the pain in my wrists. I can see redish marks around it. If I'll get a chance to kill him, I will. He put marks in my wrist, he'll pay for it. I assure you.

I stepped out from the car. Sinalubong ako ng mga lalaking naka poker face. Maybe there are 20 of them. Am I that important person at 20 katao pa ang sumalubong sakin?

"Welcome to the blood moon pack Princess." A man said with a cold and baritone voice. Just like the other man's voice.

Nahati sa gitna ang mga lalaking naka poker face to give the man a way para makalapit sakin. His hands were placed formally in his hands. He's wearing a black suit na gives him more authorization.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" I clenched my teeth dahil sa pang gigigil. I badly wanted to punch him hard on the face. "Nasan si Ace? Diba siya ang nagpadukot sakin? Bakit wala siya? Ilabas niyo siya!"

I met my eyebrows when he laugh out loud. Did I say something wrong? Myself being confused shift into being angry. Is he fucking damn laughing at me?

We all turned to look in the dark forest beside the mansion when we heard a loud howl. Nataranta silang lahat when we heard growls not that far from us. Even I.

"The hound pack is here." Hindi maipinta ang mukha ng lalaking naka suit. He was looking seriously at the dark forest where the howlings and growlings came from.

"Hound pack?" I asked confused.
