Eddie and Carrie found the gate quickly, it was bright red, bulging so pretty hard to miss. When they came out of the other side they didn't expect to see a shirtless Steve fighting for his life against creepy, indeed, demobats along with Nancy and Robin trying to fight them off with pieces of clothing and the oars from the boat. "Steve!" Carrie shouted as she began running towards him, bat in hand. "Hold still!" she shouted and he did. She took the wooden bat to the demobats sending it flying and for sure killing it. Eddie watched in awe as Carrie worked like a video game player or the badass in action movies, he also wondered if it should of turned him on like it did. He soon snapped into action as he joined in the killing of this demon creatures in order to help Steve. The group watched as Steve took the last one, ripping it's head clean off with his teeth. "Cool," Eddie breathed. "Wow," Nancy panted. Steve spat the blood of the bat out, there was far too much of it and it made Robin want to vomit. There was a silence as everyone took in their surroundings, they were really in the 'Upside Down'. "Super hero Steve," Robin laughed, breaking the silence. Everyone smiled as Steve took a sarcastic bow. "Steve," Nancy gasped looking down at this bleeding side, directing everyone attention to it. Carrie watched as Nancy caressed his cut like he was bleeding honey, not that she cared but it wasn't very 'Jonathons girlfriend' of her to be rubbing Steve like that, but who was Carrie to judge? "All in they took about a pound of flesh," Steve breathed heavily, "but other than that, never better," he stared into Nancys eyes. "Uh, do you think bats have like rabies?" Robin questioned. "What?" Steve questioned, confused. "It's just that rabies are like, uh my number one greatest fear," Robin attempted to justify her mention of rabies. "Look around, I think there are more current fears," Carrie spoke, looking around at the Upside Down. "I think we should get you to a doctor soon because once its set in your system, it's too late, you're dead," Nancy pointed out. Steve looked slightly horrified. Before Robin could continue her Rabies rant, there was an intense noise of chittering. Eddie reached for Carries hand, pulling her closer and slightly behind him as the group watched more demobats line up infront of them. "Theres not that many, we can take them right?" Steve laughed hopelessly. More demobats began to swarm. "What were you saying?" Robin asked, terrified. Eddies right hand went to his hair as his left squeezed Carries hand tighter. "The woods come on," Nancy spoke and set off running. Steve followed. "Oh great, more running," Robin huffed following. Eddie squeezed Carries hand one more time before they let go and set off running.

"I bet your hair would of looked funny if we weren't running for our lives," Carrie smiled to Eddie as the group perched hidden between rocks. Eddie laughed with her. "How can you guys laugh right now?" Robin questioned. "Well, it would have like bounced," Carrie tried to explain the humour but Robin didn't find it exactly funny. The group stood up, ready to leave the rock that hid them when Steve fell slightly. "Steve?" Nancy worried, "Jesus," she spoke, looking at this gash again. "I'm fine," he panted. "No, you're not you're loosing a lot of blood," Nancy was panicking at the blood that stained his side. "Come on, sit down," Nancy instructed him and he did. Carrie began to take off eddies jacket, handing it to him before removing the band shirt that dropped over one shoulder, slipping down the other to reveal a vest under. "Here," she passed Nancy the shirt to provide something to put pressure on Steves stomach. "Wait, that's your favourite band," Steve tried to stop Nancy from ruining the shirt with his blood. Carrie smiled looking at Steve who was smiling through the pain. Eddie looked down at the floor. "I have other shirts, they are my favourite," she laughed. "I know," Steve smiled, noticing Eddie looking away. Carrie nodded. "I only know because Eddie told me," Steve spoke truthfully, the mention his name made Eddie look up. Carrie smiled at Steve and then Eddie before nodding at Nancy to make sure she used the t shirt properly. Nancy fixed him up and Carrie watched from a distance as the pair had a moment. She then turned and saw Eddie climbing a fallen tree trunk. "So, uh, this place is just like Hawkins but with monsters and nasty shit?" Eddie asked. "Pretty much," Nancy spoke. Eddie went to get down, "Wait! Watch out for the vines, its all a hive mind," Nancy warned him. She explained how everything was connected to Vecna. "Shit," was his response as he tried to navigate the vines which made Carrie laugh. "Go Spiderman," she laughed. "That is a terrible comic to bring up right now," he smiled as he made a movement with his hand that attempted to be spider- like. Robin began asking about the differences between the Upside Down and home, realising they were still similar. "So we could go to a police station and get guns and grenades and whatever," she suggested. "We dont have to go all the way down town to get guns," Nancy spoke, "I have guns in my bedroom," Nancy spoke. "Thats so fucking badass Wheeler," Carrie smiled to her. "Yeah, you almost shot me with one," Steve laughed. "You almost deserved it," she smiled. How were they having so many sweet moments in the Upside Down? Unfortunately their moment was ruined when the ground shook heavily, taking all the young adults to the ground. Steve held Nancy as the pair fell against a rock, Steve steadied them both. Robin fell against Eddie, he caught her as they both hit the ground. Carrie fell in the opposite direction, hitting the floor alone. Eddie panicked as he realised he was laid with the wrong girl, but it couldn't be helped and Carrie wouldn't mind, he didn't choose to catch Robin instead. The ground stopped as the group began to get up.

Carrie didn't move. Of course Eddie ran to help her up off the floor. "You okay Car?" he asked offering her his hand, but she didn't move. "Princess?" Eddie knelt next to her, pulling her up before noticing her eyes. What used to be shining, blue pupils had been replaced by the whites of her eyeball. "CARRIE!" he began to shake her. Steve was next to run over to her, followed by Nancy and Robin. "CARRIE!" Steve shouted, nudging her as Eddie held her up. "CARRIE, WAKE UP, PLEASE!" Eddie begged but she didn't move. "Vecna," Nancy whispered. "No come on Carrie, wake up!" Steve held her arm, shaking it. "Dont do this to us Car," Steve panicked. "Someone play some fucking music!" Eddie shouted. "Eddie we dont have any," Robin slowly spoke. "Carrie, please," Eddie begged, almost crying, "I know that I ran before, but I'm not running away now, I'm right here, just wake up," Eddie pleaded, "please."

"Hello Carrie,"
