(AN- Hi! Hope you're enjoying the story, sorry there isn't much smut, I ended up getting way more into the plot than I thought I would. This chapter is without any help from the shows script so wish me luck!)

When Carrie hit the ground, she got straight back up but realised that the rest of the group weren't there. "EDDIE!" she yelled. "STEVE!" she yelled straight after, followed by "ROBIN, NANCY!" she panicked, what if they had been taken by Vecna? "Hello Carrie," a low, evil voice spoke that gave Carrie shivers down her spine. She looked around, the red sky thrashed with lightening. "EDDIE! STEVE!" she tried again. "That's why you're here Carrie," the voice boomed once again. The ground shook, "I tried to help you Carrie, but you couldn't even help yourself," the voice slivered through her ears, piercing deep inside of her. She looked around for the body that the voice came from. "You had to be greedy Carrie," the voice was getting closer. Carrie knew she had to run but didn't know what she was running from. As soon as she set off two vines wrapped around her legs pulling her to the ground. She slammed against the concrete floor hard, letting out a groan of pain. "Just pick one Carrie," the voice was now infront of her and as she opened her eyes she quickly realised what was going on. She didn't need to worry about Steve or Eddie being taken by Vecna because she was the one who had been taken and stood infront of her was Vecna.

"What do you want from me? To kill me? Do it then, I'm not scared of you!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. The vines began to pull her, she couldn't see where she was going or what direction she was being pulled in. "Carrie, all I want is for you to choose," the vile creature spoke. "I tried to help you," it spoke again. "What are you talking about?" she spat. "I helped you Carrie," the creature was tall and looked like a thousand vines twisted into one. "I never asked for help, I never asked you for anything!" Carried shouted to the creature. She swore it laughed at her. "Carrie, I got rid of the thing in your way," Vecna snarled. "You should appreciate it," he hissed. Carrie shook her head. "I helped you with Eddie," it continued to snarl. Carrie school her head harder, "leave him alone!" she shouted. "A certain cheerleader could have got in your way, and I stopped her Carrie," its voice was a loud whisper in her ear. Carrie watched as she was pushed against a podium while the vines of another podium moved to uncover a females face. "Chrissy!" Carrie cried seeing the dead girl, "I never- I didn't ask for that!" tears streamed down her face. "Thats what I do for you, and how do you repay me? By deciding you want Steve Harrington too?" the monster hissed, shaking its head at Carrie. "Leave Steve alone!" she shouted to it. "I will, or I won't. Make the choice Carrie," he snarled. Carrie just shook her head as tears poured, smudging her already messy eye liner.

"My house isn't far, if we run, I have a record player," Nancy spoke. "She cant move Nancy," Robin pointed out. "She's dead weight," Eddie was still holding her. "Man, lifeguard training coming in handy twice," Steve spoke, referencing that he's trained to carry a 'lifeless' body. "You have to let go of her Eddie," Steve spoke, preparing to pick Carrie up. Eddie shook his head. "Look, I can get her there the fastest, trust me," Steve spoke softly. "Steve, your stomach," Nancy reminded him. "I die, before she does," Steve spoke, picking her up, readying himself to run. "More running Robin," he smiled as the group set off again.

"This isn't about me, I never asked you to do that, I didn't even know who you were, I barely knew Chrissy!" Carrie cried out. "I'm playing nice here Carrie, just pick one, that's all you have to do," Vecna looked at her. "Pick one and have your happy ever after, its easy, then Carrie, I will kill the other," he smirked. She screamed and struggled against the vines. "Carrie, look closely, make a decision," he whispered, confusing her, what was there to look at. She blinked, when she opened her eyes that's when she saw them, struggling against vines. "Carrie!" two familiar voices shouted, "Carrie help us," they shouted again, "Please!" they screamed for her. Her heart dropped through her body as she realised who the voices belonged too. "Of Course if you wanted to pick Steve I can help out there too," the creature laughed as Carrie heard another voice. "Carrie please, help!" a females voice screamed. "No, leave them alone, take me," Carrie cried. Carrie watched as Eddie, Steve and Nancy all squirmed and fought against vines that held them up. "Please," she cried.

"Straight upstairs, to my room!" Nancy shouted. Steve did as he was told, reaching Nancys bedroom, slowly placing her on the bed. Eddie followed, holding her hand tightly, kneeling next to her. His eyes were still wet. "Shes- she's not floating yet, right? That means she's still in there," Robin spoke with hope. "The tapes and record," Steve motioned to the pile of tapes that Nancy had. Nancy and Robin began to search through them. "You're looking for Motley Crue," Eddie spoke. "Motley who?" Robin asked. "Crue, Motley Crue," Steve repeated. "Eddie I dont think I-" Nancy tried to speak. "Just look!" Eddie lost his temper, "I'm sorry, just please," he squeezed Carries hand, Nancy nodded and continued to look. Nancy nudged Steve, getting his attention and shaking his head, she bit her lip nervously. "Eddie, she doesn't have their music," Steve spoke, his voice breaking. "No, no you have to, they're her favourite," Eddie panicked. He couldn't loose her, he had barely had her.

"I wonder how Steve would feel about what you did with Eddie, not very Biblical of you Carrie," Vecna shook his head. "You're not very biblical," She spat at him. "On the contrary, I am every monster in the bible," his smirk was vile. "I wonder how used Eddie would feel if you picked Steve hm?" it laughed a sickening laugh. The vines grew tighter on her friends, Carrie felt helpless as she watched.

"What do we do?" Steve asked, he was in full panic mode. "The chords," Eddie spoke, quietly to himself but loud enough for everyone to hear. "What?" Steve questioned. "Nancy, a guitar, do you have a guitar?" Eddie asked quickly. "In the basement!" Nancy shot off, running down the stairs. "What are you gonna do man?" Steve asked. "No more running, this time, I save the girl," Eddie nodded to himself before saying random letters, confusing Robin and Steve. Nancy ran back up out of breathe, handing him the guitar. "I hope you like the acoustic version Princess," he breathed, strumming.

Carrie heard a sound that wasn't the screaming of her friends but couldn't quite make out what it was. "Carrie, make a choice, NOW," Vecna boomed, rushing her. "I-" she could heard the sound again, it sounded melodic. "Now Carrie or I'll kill them all," Vecna spoke. Carrie stopped focusing on Vecnas voice and concentrated on the noise she could hear, her heart raced as she realised what she was hearing. "I won't choose" she spoke firmly. Vecna strides towards her. "Then I'll kill your friends," he pointed to the three people trapped by vines. "No you won't, because they're not my friends, they're not real," she spat at him. "My real friends are out there, playing my song," Carrie smiled widely. "I choose freedom," she smiled grabbing and ripping the vines apart. She set of sprinting towards the music, the voice sounded so familiar, so did the chords. She knew the song but she couldn't work out the version, so she just ran towards it. Thats when a gap began to rip open between Vecnas lair and the Upside Down. She could see them, her friends, Robin pacing the room, Nancy sat on the foot of her bed, her hands clasped to her mouth. Steve sat holding onto Nancys arm in panic. Then she saw him, beautiful him. Eddie playing the guitar as hard as he could, that's when she realised whose voice it was. She ran towards Eddie singing 'Live Wire' by  Motley Crue and she wouldnt stop until she was back in his arms.

"Come on, be my baby," sang from Eddie mouth as he thought about how he couldn't wait to really ask her that. He prayed over and over for her to wake up, he knew he was nearing the edge of the song, his fingers ached from slicing against the wires of the guitar. "Come on Carrie," Robin spoke, worried. Nancy sat on the edge of her bed, terrified, and Steve clung to her with tears in his eyes. Eddie played the guitar even harder and he swore if he looked down he'd see his fingers were bleeding but he didn't care as long a Carrie came back to him. He was on the last verse, she had to wake up. "'Cause I'm alive, I'm a live wire!" he shouted as he hit every beat, even on an acoustic guitar. He smashed his hands down the guitar as he played the sound to a finish.

The guitar smashed to the floor as it dropped from Eddies hands, it cracked even further when Robin jumped on it, clasping her hands to her mouth. "Eddie!" a voice breathed heavily. "Oh shit!" Eddie shouted as he jumped onto the bed. "Carrie!" Steve cried as he and Nancy dived onto her, Robin joining them. "Fuck Princess, you scared us," Eddie cried into her shoulder as she wrapped her arms around everyone.

Everyone moved back, giving Carrie more space. "Fuck Carrie, there's blood," Steve pointed out. "I usually play with a pick, and I have never played that hard" Eddie held out his hands for everyone to see, his fingers sliced and cut. "Oops?" he shrugged burrying his head into Carrie, breathing like he'd run a marathon.
