As we arrived to Cascades I got out of the car to see it was not what I was expecting. We walked around a long curvy sidewalk to a more open area. We walked over to the amphitheater where I saw the seats were filled and more than half of them were people I knew from school. I took a deep breath and followed Lia and Mae.

We stood at the top behind seats just before the lights went dim and everyone stood up and cheered. A band started coming out on the stage. I didn't recognize them until I saw the lead singer come to the front of the stage. He went to my school, but I didn't know his name.

I leaned against the wall that was behind me before out of the corner of my eye I saw someone staring at me. I quickly looked over to see a tall guy with green eyes and medium length brown curly hair staring at me with a smirk on his face.

I tried to look away as slick as possible hoping he would too, but I could tell he was still looking at me. Before I could react I was startled by Mea starting to scream. Lia grabbed my hand and started to make her way down the stairs to the front.

"What are you doing?" I said pulling my hand away.
"Come on!"
"Wait no-" before I could finish my sentence both Lia and Mae were already running down to the front.

Before I even knew it, I was standing by myself. I couldn't decide to weather I wanted to go down there with them or just stand up here by myself, but as I slowly walked over to the stairs someone walked past me.

"Hey my friend thinks you're hot." I turned around as I saw some guy I didn't know walking down the stairs. I slowly turned around and with regret started to walk back up to the top. I saw the tall guy with green eyes and curly hair was walking toward me clenching his jaw.

"Don't mind him, he's an ass."

I raised my eye brows and turned my head away.

"So you don't think I'm hot?" I said trying to be obnoxious as possible.

"Well-" He stopped himself as I looked away, but I could tell he was still staring at me.

This must have gone on for 5 minutes before everything around me was muted before I jumped to him lightly touching my shoulder.

"Are you okay?" He asked chuckling.

"Oh what? Yea- Yea I'm fine." I said screaming over the music

"You look like you've seen a ghost."

I looked at him confused trying to be slick.

"Really?" I said sarcastically trying to act like everything was okay.

"Yea well I dunno..." He said trailing off. I leaned against the wall trying to pay attention to the concert seeing he was still staring at me.

"I'm Harry." He said with a smirk on his face.

"I'm Ellie-"

"Yea I know. My friend was talking about you. He said something about being in your History class?" I had never seen that kid before, but I just went along with it.

"Oh yea I guess. You go to Easton?" He didn't say anything he just looked at me confused.

"Easton High School..."

"Oh no I uhm- I just moved here. Well moved back."

I had no clue what he was talking about, but I still nodded my head and went along with it. I lifted up my head to the sound of the music fading and that's when I realized the first part of the concert was over. I tried looking over the crowd of people for Mae and Lia, but everywhere I looked they weren't there.
