three days later
I stepped out of the shower dripping wet reaching across the counter to grab my towel. I dried off and wrapped it around me opening the door starting to walk to my room. I quickly grabbed my light wash jeans with holes in them and slipped them on. I took my white bandeau of out my drawer and put it on followed by my slightly sheer cream loose tank top. I ran back into my bathroom throwing makeup on hearing my phone ring in the distance.
"HELLO we've been sitting in your driveway for like 5 minutes come on!" Mae said before I could even say hello.
"I'm coming!" I said before I hung up. I unplugged my phone from the charger and saw it was 7:51. As I left my house and got in the car I could hear Lia and Mae arguing about how to get there. I laughed and they turned to look at me.
"Hey don't look at me!" I said forcing Lia to back out of my driveway. I sat in silence the whole ride as Mae and Lia talked about pointless things arguing back and forth along the way about where to go.
"Is that it?" Lia said squinting her eyes.
"I think so, turn." Mae replied.
As we turned down the street we were able to see a large house made out of wood, lighting up the trees. I could feel the loud music in my chest and saw people scattered everywhere. After we parked the car Lia and Mae grabbed my hand forcing me to run inside.
When we got inside we saw a mosh pit of people surrounding Adams band in the front of the room. We walked over to it standing in the back were Lia and Mae started dancing and jumping around. After about 15 minutes I saw Lia trying to talk.
"I'm gonna go get a drink." She yelled over the music.
"Okay!" Mae yelled following her out of the room. Before I could even saw anything they had left me alone.
I felt someone brush against my back so I turned around. I saw someone trying to hand me a drink while smiling, but I pushed his arm down and walked away. I tried walking into the kitchen, but couldn't get past the crowed who was blocking it. I turned around and started to walk for the door.
I walked back and fourth trying to find my way before I realized I was lost. I made my way to the stairs where I decided to go up them to find a bathroom. I looked into each room with an open door before I came across two glass doors that were open. I peaked around the corner and saw it was a balcony. I rushed out of it and leaned over the side.
I saw that I was facing the back of the house. I could hear the music from downstairs, but it wasn't as intense. I looked out and saw the moon reflecting on a small pond. I took a deep breath trying to calm down as I had gotten overwhelmed by all of the people.
As I started to walk back inside to find the bathroom when I herd a loud crash and giggling come from one of the rooms nearby. I continued looking in the rooms before I came across door that was open a crack about two inches wide. I started to walk past it before I saw movement through the crack. I stayed where I was and jumped seeing a guy pressing a girl against a wall roughly making out with her.
I started to walk away before she grabbed him and pinned him against the wall. I was able to see that the guy was Harry.
I could barley feel myself breath as I saw him start to unbuckle his belt while she completely stripped naked. I turned around and rushed down the stairs. I came to a sudden stop when I noticed there were people blocking my way out.
"Woah in a hurry?" A guy said while lifting his drink in the air. I gave him a sarcastic smile and shoved my way through the people.
I turned the corner finding myself in the kitchen where I then proceeded back to the mosh pit trying to find Lia and Mae. I started to feel light headed and my vision became blurry. I took a deep breath and turned around heading for the front door. I dodged people back and forth before I stopped trying to catch my breath. I felt my legs collapse as the person next to me grabbed me and stood me back up.
"Walk much?" She said walking away.
I made my way to the door fast as possible. I pushed myself out walking through tons of people before I rushed into the woods to find the car. I looked around and realized I had gone to far. I continued to walk as I got to a tree. I put my hand on it and lunged myself forward as I threw up. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and turned around heading back to the car.
When I reached the car I tried to open the door, but it was locked. I sighed and slid my back down against the door. I took my phone out of my back pocket and texted Lia.
To Lia: where are you?? I wanna go home.
I sighed and put my arm down. I leaned my head against the car and started to drift off.
"Hey!" I jumped awake hearing a guy yell in my ear.
"You drank?" I looked up rubbing my eyes seeing someone I didn't know.
"No." I replied.
"Good cause you're driving." He said throwing me the keys. I saw him and Mae carrying Lia around their shoulders. Mae was standing there with her eyes closed and eyebrows brought together.
I stood up holding the keys in my hand unlocking the car. Mae put Lia in the back seat and buckled her along with herself. I started the car and turned around to look at them. Lia was asleep and Mae was rubbing her eyes.
I drove to Lias house in silence. When we got there I pulled in the driveway and stopped the car. I turned back to see both of them asleep wondering how I was going to get them inside. I shuffled through the front part of her car trying to find anything that would possibly wake them up. I found a half drunken water bottle that I opened and splashed on them. Mae jumped awake while Lia didn't even flinch.
"Help me get her." I said as Mae looked at me shocked.
Once we dragged Lia inside we put her on her bed and Mae went into her bathroom to take a shower. I shuffled through Lias drawers to try to find cloths before I finally grabbed a t shirt and underwear. I sat down on the side of her bed getting ready to lay down before I decided to let Mae sleep there. I walked out of her room and into the hall seeing her house was completely dark so I knew no one else was home. I walked through the hall to the guest room where I threw the covers back from the bed and laid down. Before I knew it I was staring at the ceiling when finally my eyes closed and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
