I woke up to my phone buzzing on my nightstand which sounded like nails being pounded into the wall. I quickly grabbed it not being able to open my eyes all the way and before I knew it I was talking to my mom.
"Ellorie Grace Thompson I have been calling you all night! Are you at school?"
"I'm sorry I was-" I stopped myself before looking down at my phone. It was 11am and I only had 3 missed calls.
"You only called me 3 times." I said not trying to make her mad.
"I don't care, I expect you to answer me the first time I call! You had me worried sick all night."
"Yea I bet so." I said sighing.
"Listen, I'm going to be out of town until Thursday so you can either go over to-"
"I'll be fine mom."
"No I don't want you staying-"
"I will be fine." I said once again interrupting her.
"Okay. Okay I know you will." I herd her say as I rolled my eyes.
"I gotta go." I said trying to get away from my mom.
"Oh alright well if you need anything call me."
"Yea okay bye." I said hanging up the phone as fast as I could.
I threw my phone at my feet laid back down on my bed. I opened my eyes asking myself if it was too late to go to school or not.
I stoop up and threw my hair in a bun. I slipped on black leggings and a t shirt. I rushed into my bathroom to look at myself. I took a deep breath noticing my appearance. I made a face at myself before stripping down and starting the shower.
I got ready for school as fast as I could seeing it was 12:06. Lunch had just started and I couldn't afford to miss another day especially it being the middle of my senior year.
I walked out of my door starting to call Lia, but instead threw my arm down and decided to walk.
I arrived on campus and went into the forum where I looked around for Mae and Lia. I spotted them and started to walk over to them. Mae looked up and let out a sigh of relief and Lia swallowed her water to prevent herself from choking.
I sat down and started to search my bag for a notebook for my 6th period.
"Hey did I leave my Spanish homework in your car, I- I gave it to you to copy I think, but I don't have it and I need it-"
"El!" Mae shouted as Lia jumped.
"Not so loud. How are you even so peppy right now." Lia said slumping down on the table.
I stopped what I was doing and looked up. "What?"
Lia continued to stare at me then slowly started to smirk in amazement. "She doesn't remember."
"Remember what?" I said looking back down in my bag continuing to search for my notebook.
"Ellorie-" Mae started.
"Look can I just have your keys I need to-" I stopped myself looking up at them staring at me in shock.
"What?" They didn't reply.
"Lia-"
"No I'll go!" Mae said standing up.
"What the hell is wrong with you guys? Liana give me your keys."
Mae sat down looking over at Lia as she reached down in her bag to get her keys. She threw them down on the table and sat back in her chair with a pouty look on her face. I rolled my eyes and stood up as I walked out of the building.
Just as I started to walk away I jumped as someone ran into me and grabbed my shoulders.
"Sorry." He said.
"It's okay." I mumbled as I walked around himnot paying attention.
"Aren't your going to say hi or at least look at me?" I turned around and looked up at the tall person see Harry standing in front of me.
"H- Hi?" I said confused.
"Aren't you going to ask why I'm here..."
"Why are you here Harry?" I asked trying to sound preppy in a sarcastic tone.
"Because of you."
I stopped and stood still. I stopped smiling so he wouldn't know I was starting to loose all my composure. My heart starting racing and my head was spinning. I didn't know how to react so I turned around and walked away.
"Im just joking calm down. My dads making me... Look I know I came on kind of strong, but maybe we can start over. We got off on the wrong foot." I stopped to turn around and look at him.
"What are you talking about?" I tried to say calmly. He pushed his head forward and raised his eyebrows.
"Last night... the concert... and you-" I looked at him and started to press my lips together so he would see I had no idea what he was talking about.
"You were so drunk that you don't even remember." Harry said shaking his head trying not to laugh. My heart dropped as I kept a straight face.
"You had a drink and before I knew it you were all over me and you asked for a ride and-" I cut him off trying not to completely freak out.
"W-woah woah woah did we- oh my god."
"No no- well- I mean-" I stared at him worrying that we actually had sex until he began to talk again.
"We just made out in my car. And got naked. Nothing else's though-"
"So-"
"No." He said cutting me off before I could say anything else. I stared at him with an upset face for a couple seconds before I sarcastically smiled and turned around to walk away.
"Hey hey wait I thought we were going to start over!" I tried to ignore him and continued walking. I herd him sigh as he ran around in front of me forcing me to stop.
"Ellorie hold on-" I stopped at the sound of him saying my name.
"You didn't even remember okay? This didn't have to happen, we can just start over."
I finally gave in and said okay walking away as fast as possible being thankful that he didn't keep following me.
