Harry and I sat in the car in silence as he drove me home from the cabin. I took a deep breath trying not to fall asleep looking out of the window. The ride home seamed long even though it was only about 20 minutes. The sun had barley risen yet. Harry made us get up early expecting me to go to school, but I decided to go with it.

We pulled up to my house and I check my phone. We only had about 15 minutes before school, but I still got out of the car and went inside anyways. I walked in to see the kitchen light on and could hear the drying running. I didn't acknowledge it knowing my mom was home and walked into my room.

"Oh Ellorie!" My mom said coming out of the kitchen running after me.

"Where were you?" She said opening my door after me.

"At Lia's." I could tell by her face she didn't believe me.

"We were studying for this test all night and went to bed late. When I woke up this morning I felt sick so she just drove me home."

"Well when are you going to take the test?" She said crossing her arms.

"Tomorrow at lunch."

"Oh okay well, I'm going to be home all week so if you need anything-"

"All week?" I said siting up on my bed.

"Well yes I mean I might go to the office once or twice, but I have a big trip next week-" She stopped herself noticing I had lost interest.

I reached over to my night stand and opened the top drawer. I pulled out my black earbuds and plugged them into my phone. I started to put them into my ears not acknowledging my mom even though I knew she was staring at me. I expected her to try to talk to me, but instead after several minutes she walked out of my room.

I stared at my ceiling listening to the music before I jumped to a text I got. I saw it was in the groupchat with Lia and Mae. Mae had asked where I was and Lia arrowed up to Maes text. I quickly turned my phone on do not disturb and closed my eyes falling into a well deserved sleep.

I slowly opened my eyes and tried to adjust to the sun shining through my room. I herd a loud bang on my door and shot up. I ran over to my window and looked out seeing Lia's car. I sighed and ran out of my room to the front door. I noticed my house was quiet, but I only wondered where my mom as for a second. I opened the door rubbing my eyes seeing Lia and Mae standing in front of me. Lia barged in and Mae followed her.

"Come in?" I said closing the door behind them.

They walked into my living room then turned around and looked at me.

"What?" I finally said breaking the silence.

"Okay I'm not even gonna sugar coat it anymore El-" Lia started to say, but stopped when Mae nudged her arm.

"Harry he's- he's trouble." Mae started as Lia cut her off.

"And people aren't going to make it any better for you, it's not-"

"What do you mean?" I said stopping Lia and walking into my kitchen.

"It's going to get worse if you don't back off." I took a deep breath trying to hear them out.

"Why do you guys always do this?" I started to say.

"No El you obviously don't know how bad it is, but I know you know how things go around at school so please just-" Mae sighed as she saw me becoming mad.

"I think you need to go." I said practically whispering.

Lia quickly turned around and walked out of my door soon followed by Mae who mouthed sorry to me. I followed them over to the door and closed it behind them. I walked back over to the kitchen grabbing a cup from the cabinet and pouring water into it.

As I took a sip I started to think about everything I had saw before on Twitter. I checked the time and saw lunch ended five minutes ago so I decided to stay home. I walked back into my room and grabbed my computer from my desk flopping back down on my bed.
