2 days later
I squinted as I tried not the look at the sun that was piercing my eyes. I looked down and let out a deep sigh noticing I could see my breath. I adjusted myself in my sweater and brought my hands to my ace rubbing my eyes.
Lia and Mae hadn't talked to me every since I sent them that one text so that meant I wouldn't be getting any rides any time soon. I walked down the sidewalk firmly grasping my phone in my hand making sure I wasn't going to drop it.
I walked for several more minutes before coming to the front of my school and noticing only a few kids hurrying to get to class. I looked down at my phone and saw I was only 1 minute late. I adjusted my backpack on my back and opened the door to the overpass walking inside to go to class.
I turned the corner coming to the steps. Before I went down I noticed two girls sitting on the bottom step chatting. I didn't pay attention to them as I was going down until I noticed one of them watching me until the other one finally hit the other one on the shoulder. They both looked at each other before one of them turned to the other and whispered in her ear.
I was confused and wondered if they were talking about me before I snapped back into reality realizing I almost passed my first period.
I took a deep breath and walked inside. I started to walk over to my seat before I herd someone talk. I stopped and turned around seeing we had a substitute.
"What's your name?"
"Ellorie Thompson." I said before turning around and walking to the back of the class.
I threw my stuff next to the desk and looked around trying to figure out what to do. I sat quietly in my seat for a few minutes before I saw someone walk up to me.
"Sign your name." The substitute said handing me a piece of paper on a clip board. I shuffled through my backpack to find pencil and when I did I hesitated to sign my name confused. I saw everyone in the class had written their name on a line so I went along with it and wrote mine down.
"Okay you can just work on things you need to make up." The substitute said with a heavy accent before walking away.
I sighed and grabbed my headphones out of my backpack. I plugged them into my phone and blasted music drifting off for the rest of the class.
The rest of the day went on slowly. The few times I did see Lia and Mae we only faked a smile at each other and moved on.
I started to walk to the forum for lunch when I stopped realizing I would have to deal with Lia and Mae. I turned myself around passing kids back and fourth scattering the campus. I turned into the small butterfly garden my school has. I quickly walked through it finally reaching the long sidewalk that leads to the road.
I crossed the road to the other side of the sidewalk quickly running to the metal fence that lined the sidewalk. I looked all around me to make sure no one was watching before I opened the gate and ran in.
I knew I shouldn't be trespassing into someone else's yard to get to what was probably someone else's property, but I didn't mind knowing I wouldn't get caught.
I took a deep breath traveling through the woods before finally reaching the end coming out onto a small hill that lead down to a big pasture overlooking a small neighborhood. I slowly slid down to the middle of the hill by a patch of weeds that looked like flowers and sat down.
I looked out into the small suburb squinting from the sun shining in my eyes before I jumped hearing a snap coming from the woods behind me. I didn't think anything of it and turned back around trying not to be blinded by the sun.
I laid back on the grass closing my eyes for what seamed like 3 minutes before I sat back up hearing my phone go off. I saw class was starting in 10 minutes and Mae was texting me like crazy trying to find out where I was.
I jumped up and shoved my phone in my pocket proceeding to run through the woods back to school.
When I finally got the class everyone was sitting around chatting like usual while my teacher sat at his desk probably searching online for a new car.
I made my way to the back of the class room not paying attention until I got to my seat and saw Harry sitting in the seat next to mine. I didn't acknowledge him, but I could tell he was staring at me with a smirk on his face.
"Where have you been?" I finally said not looking up from my paper. He didn't reply but I herd him laugh under his breath.
"Enjoy your walk?" He finally said a few minutes later. I didn't look up, but I stopped writing and stood still wondering if he was thinking about what I though he was.
"You were following me?" I said shooting my head up and staring at him.
"Mayyybe." He said looking around the room.
"What is wrong with you?" He tried to say something, but I cut him off.
"You take me on a so called date- I don't even know how to explain everything else." I finished rolling my eyes glancing over to see him yet again staring at me with a smirk. I stopped myself from staring at him by getting up and walking over to my teachers desk.
"Can I use the restroom?"
"Ahh si señorita!" He said tapping his desk. I turned around and quickly walked out of the door walking through the hall heading for the bathroom.
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket checking my Instagram feed as I turned the corner of the hall. I continued to make my way to the bathroom still on my phone before I stopped running into someone who had grabbed my shoulders. I gasped and looked up to see Harry.
"What the hell?" I said pulling away.
"Okay you can't blame that one on me." He said taking a step toward me.
He continued to walk closer to me until I was leaning against the wall. He started to come close to me before he was right up in my face. I didn't know how to react and I couldn't speak.
He tilted his head staring at me as I took in every little detail on his face. Before I knew it he leaned in to kiss me and we were making out in the hallway.
