Everything around me was mute and I couldn't focus on anything but Lia's phone sitting in my hand. Everything seamed to be moving in slow motion as I scrolled up and down Lia's Twitter feed. Each time I took in a breath I could feel the anxiety in my chest getting more and more intense. I blinked not closing my eyes all the way to prevent myself from crying.
I jumped out of everything around me to Lia snatching the phone out of my hand.
"That's enough. You look like you're about to pass out." Lia said as I looked around her room not paying attention to her.
"It's over now, right? You don't have to do this anymore, just shut it down." I slightly nodded my head taking a deep breath.
"Let's go do something to get your mind off of this." I laid back in the bed stretching as Lia said this replying with an okay.
I took several minutes to get ready while Lia ran around the house straightening things up. I walked into the living room rubbing my eyes.
"A-actually can you just take me home." I said faking a smile.
"Yea okay." Lia said trying not to show that she didn't want me to leave.
When I got to my house I slowly walked up to my front door and threw myself inside. I walked into my room and threw myself into my bed. I checked my phone trying to turn it on to see it was dead. I rolled over and plugged it in to charge. I closed my eyes feeling myself already falling asleep before I herd fast foot steps coming toward me.
"Ellorie, I thought I herd you come in!" I sighed and rolled over opening my eyes.
"You don't look good are you alright?"
"What? Yea I'm fine I was just up all night at Lias." I mumbled ignoring everything she said.
"Oh okay well don't waste your day by doing nothing." My mom said walking out of my room.
Like you would care, I thought to myself.
I jumped up seeing my mom didn't close my door. I quickly shut it and plopped back down on my bed closing my eyes trying to sleep.
"Ellorie get up!" I herd my mom faintly say as I woke up seeing her sitting on the side of my bed. I moaned and rolled over.
"Your phones been going off like crazy. I don't know how you can sleep through it but it's driving me insane. Besides its 6 O'Clock you've been asleep all day, you need to get up."
I rolled over on my back and threw the pillow over my head waiting for her to leave. When I noticed she was gone I grabbed my phone and say I had over 100 text messages. I looked to see it was mainly Lia and Mae talking in our group chat, but I also noticed five texts from Harry Styles.
I slowly clicked on then readying them carefully.
Harry: Ello sunshine
Harry: I didn't see you at the party were you there?
Harry: I saw Lia and
Harry: I don't even know what to say
Harry: Okay you're probably hungover I'll stop bothering you
I loudly sighed and threw my phone down in front of me. I got up off my bed and walked out of my room. I went into the kitchen to see my mom sitting at the table tapping away on her iPad. I got a cup from the cabinet and poured myself some water.
"Hm- Hey sweetheart, sorry I had some food but you were asleep so-"
"It's fine." I said cutting my mom off. I took my water back into my room and gabbed my phone going to sit in my chair. After taking a minute to think about nothing and drink my water, I decided to read Lia and Mae's messages.
As I scrolled through them I learned Harry had texted Lia asking about why I haven't talked to him. Finally reaching the bottom of the messages I saw they were worried about me because I wasn't answering them.
I finally replied saying I'm okay before shutting my phone off and throwing it back onto my bed.
