When we got to school I checked my phone to see 5th period had already started. I quickly said bye to Harry and ran to class.

"Nice of you to join us Ms. Thompson." My teacher said as I walked through the door.

For the rest of the class I pretended to take notes noticing a few looks I was getting from afar at first not thinking much of it. Before I knew it the bell rang and I was on my way to 6th period. Halfway through the class of doing nothing I decided to go to the bathroom. I walked through the hall and turned to corner before seeing a blonde girl that looked oddly familiar.

"Hi." She said in a sarcastic tone and a fake peppy voice.

"From what I know you have a thing with someone I used to be very close with." She said tilting her head. I stopped and didn't respond.

"Let me guess, he's changed? Be careful. You're just going to make a fool of yourself." She said rudely and walked away. I started to hyperventilate and quickly ran to the bathroom. I rushed into to handicap stall and leaned against the sink. I closed my eyes straining my face trying to catch my breath and calm down when I realized that was the girl I saw Harry with at the party. I stepped back and looked at myself in the mirror and started to cough before I finally caught my breath.

After several minutes I finally could breath okay and let myself out of the bathroom. I stopped before going out into the hall and quickly proceeded back to my classroom. I kept my head down trying to do my work and not look at everyone around me. I started to doze off before I was startled by my teacher calling my name.

"Ellorie?!" He said calling me up to his desk.

"Do you have time after school for a meeting with guidance?" He said as I noticed he was holding the classroom phone away from his face.

"Uh- Uh yes..." I said immediately regretting it.

"Okay just go there right after class." She said nodding and smiling.

I saw the clock seeing we had two minuets until the bell was going to ring. Everyone started to pack up so I threw my stuff in my backpack and waited. When the bell rang I walked over to the guidance office. When I got there they told me my guidance counselor wanted to see me to talk about some thing. I walked for just a few minutes before they called me back into her office.

"Hello Ellorie." She said with a soft smile.

"Hi." I said sitting down.

"Okay so, you have not been at school for awhile." I stayed silent as she continued.

"You... You have an attendance failure in two of your classes and have missed quiet a few tests and assignments." I sat in shock thinking it made since even though I still wasn't happy.

"If you get perfect attendance for the rest of the year you should be fine and it's not that long so it's nothing to pout about, and I gathered with some of your teachers were not sure if anythings going on, but with the policy's at the school we gathered all your work and you'll have a week to do it and in that time you're going to have to work extra hard to get it done and makeup the tests you missed also." She finished hanging me a folder that I saw was full of work when I opened it. I sighed and nodded my head then stood up and walked out.

I grabbed my phone just about to text Harry as I walked to the parking lot when I looked up seeing someone walking in front of me. I saw Harry looking up smiling at me. We started to walk to his car as I saw quiet a few freshman and sophomores still on campus waiting to be picked up. I kept my head down hoping no one was paying attention to us before we got to his car.

When I arrived at my house from Harry dropping me off I noticed the garage door was open and my moms car was in it. I walked inside to see my mom sitting at the kitchen table on her laptop with papers spread everywhere.

"Ellorie." She said following me as I walked to my room.

"I got a call some automated thing from school? Said you missed more than one class today?"

"Don't you get one of those everyday?"

"Have you not been going to class?" She said with a more serious tone.

"Just culinary." I said lying.

"You're lucky I only care about academics, but this still isn't going to look good on your transcript so you better start going." I didn't say anything back as she walked out of my room and closed the door. I sighed and looked over at the folder on my desk flopping down on my bed wanting to go to sleep and never wake up.
