Future???

To cheer up Jac I decided to sing songs which made her laugh and sometimes made her to sing along with me. She soon calmed down completely.

"Hey I dont know your name" Jac said watching me with wide eyes.

"Merlin.My name is Merlin " I said smiling at her.

She looked at me with tears in her eyes. Oh shit.

"What happened ?" I asked her with concern.

"My mom's name is merlin" she said looking down at her lap.

I took her hand in one hand squeezing it .

"Will you be with me forever ?" She asked innocently.

I don't know what to say. Forever is rare one in this world now. But I can't upset her anymore i nodded at her.

"Promise?" She asked me grinning.

"Promise" I said looking away to hide my guilty look. She pointed every once at something and babbling about it. I watched carefully any danger. I heard in this type of situation zombies are not the only threat but human too.
I found some mini van with splattered blood in the way. I shuddered thinking about the occupants. Empty tents flapped in Air ominously at the road side.
Sometime I found group of zombies amble around or trying to follow us.
The main streets faded away as we entered into rural area which lead to Zoo. We reached the zoo within two hours.

I have came here once with my friends Amy and Clara.

Its actually situated at the outskirts of the town which is good place to hide.
Except the visitors who came here i think there wont be no one.
but i dont know where my friends and jack are as the Zoo covered vast area.

"Why are we here?" jac asked looking around.

"My friends are here and Its safe to be here"  I said searching for them through the gate. When I thought to get out to open the gate i heard someone's voice through speaker.

"Wow you are still alive uh?" Someone said in a mocking tone.

I can say who it is ...Jack.

"Let me in" I yelled waving my hand frantically.I clenched my teeth.
He is one of the reason for clara's death.
If he hadnt argued If he helped i could have saved her.

I felt my heart constrict on thinking about her death.
The gate opened with creak.Its really huge gate.Without pass code we cant enter into zoo.

I think they took it in their control.
I drove into zoo which closed immediately.I drove slowly not knowing where to go.
I saw someone stood in front of the car distantly.

I squinted my eyes to take a good look.I kept my axe in ready.

"Someone is there" Jac said whimpering in fear.
When i got near i saw its ...jack.
I can feel myself filled with fury on seeing him.
I stopped when he is fair distant to me.

" You are alive" he exclaimed with hard glint in his eyes.

" Fortunately " I said through my clenched teeth.

"Shall we go inside our home?" he said dashing forward.

I clenched my teeth controlling my anger. I opened the door of the car and let Jac out.She picked her bag and came near to me holding my hand tightly.I took my bag and axe.

"Come inside" he said walking towards the two storey building which has been used as a office and staff quarters.

He unlocked the door and turned towards me.

"Ladies first" he said looking at me and Jac.

I entered into the room searching for my friends.

"So i never thought you have such a small friend" he said and crouched at Jac level.
She clutched my leg tightly.

"Hello Iam Jack, Where is Clara? " he said looking at me with knowing smirk that says you didn't save her.

"Shut up . You have no rights to use her name." I gritted out.

He stood up with challenging stare.

"You are the reason for her death" I yelled and lunged at him like crazy. I don't care anyway.

Jac backed away from me.He reversed our side now.

"Don't forget Iam the reason for your other friends are still alive" He hissed at me.

"So only i left you alive you stupid" I growled struggling under his weight.

"Merlin!!" I heard teena's voice.

"Oh my god Jack!!!Please leave her" Julie said in a pleading voice.

He still looked at me with scowl on the face. He let go off me and stood up.I sat up narrowing my eyes at him.

Jac ran and hugged me.She started to cry.

"Hey Its okay sweetie" I said rubbing her back.
My friends came towards me hugging from all side.

"What happened to clara?" Amy asked me.

I hung my head in shame for not saving her.If I could have reached her soon.
