I came out of my thoughts on hearing Jack's voice.

"Iam Jack." He introduced himself with his eyes still  on the road.

"Umm Merlin" I introduced with a tight smile taking a good look at him.

He is treat for sore eyes that's for sure.

"Checking me out uh Merlin?" He asked with amused smirk.
I just rolled my eyes shaking my head at him.

With a slight laugh he pointed at the box.

" There is some water bottles if you need " I smile gratefully picking for myself and some for my friends.

"Thank you. Are you alone?" I asked unscrewing the bottle cap.

"No actually my two friends and one girl are staying together " He said nodding his head in his own thoughts.

"Oh actually thanks for you know" I said mentioning saving us and gulped the water eagerly.God this is so good.

"Yeah that's okay" he said smiling at me.

"Hmm where are we going now?" I asked him and I remembered we have to reach Clara's home as soon as possible.

"You know the zoo .We are staying there.I mean we stuck there" he said glancing at me with a smile .

"Oh so we are going to stay there?" I asked again thinking how to ask for a help.

"For a while of course" he said.

"What are you doing before the break down?" I asked again. I tend to ramble when I get nervous.

"Aeronautical engineering" He said proudly.

"Cool" I said looking at the empty road.I turned towards Amy who is watching the streets.I can say she is looking out for the street that leads to Clara's.

He nodded his head and remained silent.

I opened my mouth to ask how they stuck in zoo.

But he interrupted "so many questions uh?you always this much talkative?" He asked with raised brow.

I smiled awkwardly trying to hide my embarrassment.Amy jerked patting my shoulder pointing towards the street which lined with houses that screamed 'Rich'. Jack stopped the truck on hearing frenzied voice of Amy.

"Hey this way to Clara home .Merlin do you remember the house one day she showed us in picture that they gonna buy? " she said pointing towards the street looking at me.
Yeah Amy said she visited them when I went to my hometown.

"Yeah i remember " I said poking my head .

"Yeah that's where she is now" she said bouncing on her seat.

"Jack I know this is too much but please we need your help.My friend Clara she is in this street we need to get her" I said with a pleading tone.

"Are you kidding?" He hissed.

"W-What's wrong? I have to save my friend.I cant leave her just like that.Please I beg you. " I begged frantically.I don't want to do this alone.I am already scared but thinking of being alone is enough to make me faint.

"That street is one of the most populated area .If we go there we all dead " He said throwing his hand in air in frustration .

"Whatever we can just try.We cant leave people just like that" I eyed him frantically.Every second we wait here arguing she may be in grave danger.

"Do you know what !!Most of the people while try to save someones life they never understand their life is in risk and Why should I risk my life for someone I don't know " He said through his clenched teeth.

I gasped on hearing his words.

"I can't keep living thinking I turned my back like coward instead of giving a try to save her. I don't want to live knowing I would have saved her. " I said trying to keep my anger in bay.

How can he be this much heartless !! I saw something snapped in his eyes when I finished my talk. His whole demeanor changed in a second. Oh shit.

"Then you can go and help your friend by all means.Now get out " He said opening the door of truck.

I glared at him.

"Please jack dont leave us.We need your help" amy pleaded him.

But he sat there like statue gritting his teeth. I came to decision.

I dont want to live in guilt if my friends die because of me.

"Okay Jack i will leave but please just keep my friends safe" I said  exiting the car without saying anything.

"Don't Merlin please.Come back." amy said with tears in her eyes.

"I swear I will be back " I said slamming the door.

Jack threw the axe outside of the truck which landed by my side with clattering sound.

"Good luck" he said before driving away leaving me in dust.
