We moved hesitantly towards the house . " Please wait here. We need to check your vitals and that you are not infected" the voice said making us stop in front of the door. Well valid point.

The door opened slowly with a male gruff figure came out of the very spacious room. I egged to catch a look at the inside but the mountain man stood before me. I let out a huff and puff making Claire smile at me. Oh right i'm a grown up here. I composed myself clearing my throat awkwardly.

" I smell children on you" Claire commented at the man. We all looked at the mountain man and back at Claire confused by her comment.

The man looked stricken for a second before composing himself. " Yeah they like to play with me" He answered in his gruff voice. 

I looked at him like he had some jokes going on.Like children loves to play with this man. I would run away on first sight of him.

" So you are the voice from the speaker?" Teena asked pointing towards the speaker .

"Yeah that would be me" He growled making us frown. Does that mean we are not welcomed here. Oh no .

" Stop growling at our guest veera" We turned towards the entrance on hearing a sweet feminine voice. Oh how relieved iam. He growled again moving towards the small box like room .

" Hello everyone never mind him. I Am Nandu by the way the only doctor here.Come on lets get you guys checked." She said warmly making us relax. " You know just a usual protocol. Please don't be alarmed" She added waving her arm towards the room.

" Oh i like your hair." She commented at my hair which is a natural black with blue highlight. Its genetic. I love my hair it just make me feel unique in some way. I caressed my waist length hair which slightly oily and dirty . Shower will be best.

I smiled awkwardly at her open compliment. We all moved towards the room one by one. They took blood samples from everyone including Claire. Well i thought it would be blood bath while taking blood from her. She surprised me.

" Good news everyone is clean and i welcome to our home sweet home once again" Nandhu said in a happy tone making us release a sigh. At Least there is no burnt skeleton this time.

" I feel like we are getting trapped again." Andrew grumbled entering the house.

Same sentiment but lets try it out. " We have Claire by us now unlike before " Isaac said making Ethan nod his head fast. Right.

" Yes I Am ." Claire smiled sweetly walking forward . We all followed chattering Nandhu who is explaining about everything happening here. She said she will give tour to the farmland where all kinds of fruits and veggies grow. I Am excited.

" I Am wondering how is it possible to keep this farmland lush and healthy in this situation. I mean how is it possible when people are starving and dying from virus dehydration there is a steady water flow and fresh fruits. This is unbelievable." Amy asked with little suspicious.

I think she is cautious about everything since the previous incident.

" We built this area before everything happened. We don't want to die ." She said with a blank expression on her face.

" We? You mean there are more people here? You know about the breakdown before?" I asked puzzled.

" Of Course sweetheart. This place doesn't get maintained by itself. Yeah i'm one of the scientist who found the virus.Before we could contain the thing everything went down the hill so fast . I own this place and don't you think it would be wise to take precaution. That's how i build this place." She explained looking at me intensely making me tense.

It felt like she is explaining everything but i'm not satisfied with those answers. I shrug those doubts away for now.

" You smell like Men and virus." Claire said with the tilted head. Another riddle.

" Of Course i work in lab that's how i smell." She shrugged with wary smile making me feel cautious. Maybe we should leave this place.

" That doesn't make sens----" I got cut off by Nandhu.

" That's enough." She screamed making us jump away. " I mean that's enough tour for today. You know just stressed from work.That's all." She snickered. We all looked at each other in a silent approval for meeting . 

" Yeah maybe you should show us our room." Jack said with a small smile  making Nandhu relax. Oh She is the mad doctor. My alarm goes off again at her behaviour but i kept silent for now.

" Come on guys. And i'm sorry Merlin. " She said giving me a easy smile. I just shrugged following her.
