I moved cautiously. It turned around suddenly making me jump.
"Hey Merlin" Ethan spoke seeing me with confusion.
"Shit you gave a heart attack. What are you doing here at this time?" I asked standing infront of him.
He chuckled " I cant find my sleep so" He said looking out of the window.
"Oh" I looked out of the window.
Its a pitch dark with buzzing sound of insects which made me feel so relaxed.
"He is not like this before" Ethan said without leaving his eyes from the window.
"Who?" I asked knowing what he is talking about.
"Jack" He said turning towards me.
"What do you mean Ethan ?" I asked him.
"He never been this much harsh to anyone until he watched ours whole family die horribly infront of him" He said sitting on the chair at the corner of the room.
I followed him and sat on the window sill.
"Me, Issac and Jack are orphans " He said looking at me.
"Orphans? now only you said you guys had family " I asked totally confused.
"We three are grown up in foster home and we dont know our's parents. We all felt was loneliness .One day a couple came to have Jack as their son but he requested them to take me and Issac too. They accepted us happily. We grew up in the same home with our new parents. They gave us everything we thought we never get including love. They treated us like their own son."
"Then what happened?" I asked .
"Then one day Jack and ours mom and dad went to shopping. Thats when the world became mad." He said looking at the floor.
"But why he treated me like iam bad girl when i said i want to save my friend" I asked Ethan curiously.
He opened his mouth to speak before we turned on hearing someones footstep.
"What you guys are doing here at this time?" Jack asked us yawning.
He looked so cute with disintegrated hair and sleepy face.
"Umm little chit chat " Ethan said winking at me.
I chuckled turning around to look at Jack who is frowning at Ethan.
We turned around at the window when we hear a grunt sound.
We came near to window peering into the darkness.
