" Shut up Teena .Finally you lost your humanity .Don't forget, If merlin is not there to help us you shouldnt be here speaking like bitch" Julie yelled at Teena.

"You----" I cut off Teena.

"Thanks for being nice Teena .I won't bother you by being here" I said picking up the axe.

Then i remembered its Jack's.I turned around and threw it near to his feet.

"Thanks " I said opening the door.

Julie and Amy came in front of me blocking my way.I looked down at Jac who is hugging my leg crying.

"Mommy please dont go. You promised me you wont leave me" She said in her small innocent voice.

I dropped down on my knee.

"I also promised to keep you safe Jac." I said wiping her tears away and kissing her tear stained cheeks.

I smiled and stood up.

"Please Merlin if you are going then Iam in" Julie said in her pleading voice.

"Me too." Amy said crossing her hand with determination to go with me.

"Listen may be iam arrogant" I turned to Teena who is frowning at me "But iam not selfish" I turned to look at Amy and Julie.

"Its me who is causing problem by wasting the precious food and water" I said looking at Jack who looked at ground snapped his eyes at me on mentioning the word he said before.

"So i have to go . Please move" I said moving towards door.

"Mommy " Jac ran towards me.

I crouched down to hug her.

"Be strong sweetie" I said wiping my tears.

" Like you? " She asked tilting her head making me laugh and cry at the same time.

I ran towards the door.

"Hey merlin where are you going ?" Issac asked standing from the sofa.

I didnt reply but kept walking. Suddenly someone yanked me by grabbing my wrist.

"What are you thinking? Its not safe out there" Ethan hissed at me.

I shrugged his hand frowning at him.

"Am sorry but where are you going?" He asked me again rubbing his neck.

"Let her go Ethan. I dont want her to be here" Jack said walking down the stairs with his hand in his pant pocket.

"What's matter with you jack? No need to be harsh. When did you become such a jerk. " Ethan said glaring at him.

Issac watched us not knowing what to do.

"Its okay Ethan. Its better be out than being here with that selfish idiot" I said pointing at Jack.

"Shut up bitch" Jack growled dashing towards me.

Ethan stood in between us.

"Move " Jack growled pushing Ethan away but he doesn't budge.

"What are you going to do Mr.Asshole? , Kill me?" I chuckled and air quoted 'Kill me'.He glared at me.

"I dont need to kill you. Once you are out you are dead" He said coldly.

"Yeah maybe but iam not going to die in guilt like you" I said smirking at him.

"Dont dare to speak like you know about me" He said narrowing his eyes at me.

"No need to act . I can see it in your eyes. Well bye" I said opening the door and slamming it close.

Again going to be alone made me vulnerable at least my friends are safe.No iam going to be strong for myself.
I know he is feeling guilt since i said that i have to save Clara even risking my life.
He changed just like that when i mentioned that.I walked towards the car that i left.
I entered the car and ignited the engine.
I drove towards the gate which opened automatically.

Without food and weapon i dont know where i have to go and i dont want to risk by going into city again.
I drive without knowing my destination.

I stopped on seeing the gas station but i dont have weapon to risk my life.

Suddenly i remembered the knife i picked at Jac's house. I took it out and looked at its shiny surface and wicked sharp end making me shudder.

I drove into gas station and saw a truck with its window sprawled with blood .

I gulped and opened the door.

And saw another truck and a car left undamaged. I thought about having truck will be good.So i went to check whether it had key or not.

I have already learned lesson to check under car. I ducked down and checked whether there is any zombies.

Clear.

I turned towards the truck with blood and looked through the window to see any one is in there.

I jumped away screaming when a zombie hit the window suddenly.I can feel my erratic beating of my heart.

Seriously merlin? what you think by looking into the truck with blood.

Idiot.

I scolded myself and looked at the zombie which is pounding on the window furiously.
I shuddered and turned towards the undamaged truck with my knife in ready.

I entered the truck after checking it .
I ignited its engine with the key that left here.I checked the fuel and its already full. Well good news.

I need to fill extra if i need. So i turned off the engine and jumped out.

I checked the truck and found two fuel cans. Damn someone is stocked ready. What about the owner?! I shrugged moving towards the petrol pump. I filled it and placed it at the back. Thinking about dried Gas Station after some day vexed me.

Its already getting dark.I have to find some place to stay safe. I entered the truck and i found the axe and machete.
I took axe and examined it.It reminded me of the idiot jack.

I brushed of his thoughts away and started to drive.

After half an hour i found nothing to stay safe So i decided to stay in truck itself. I stopped the truck near the open ground. I locked all the window and laid low So that nothing can see me.

I opened my bag and found the chocolates and some potato chips.
I ate it in silence.

I looked under the seat to find something useful. I saw a box full of beer cans.Wow my luck. I opened them and chugged it greedily.

I thanked god for still keeping me alive. I crouched down and laid on the seat.

I checked my wrist watch. Its already 8 pm.

I surrounded by utter dark which caused me eerie feeling and being alone added with it. Even my breathing sounded too loud. Even there is no crickets or some insect sound making me feel anxious.

I closed my eyes in a hope to see the morning sun soon. Somehow I fell into sleep sometime.

I woke up at half night hearing some grunt sound. My sleep left me without any trace. I swallowed hard and lifted my head to look out.
I saw nothing but still i can hear the grunt sound.
I felt someone or something walking to other side of the truck.

I laid flat and watched through the other side of window daring not to move and i felt someone sniffing the window on my side.

And another stood on the another window peering into the window sniffing.

I closed my eyes praying nothing should happen. I never felt this much scared in my life.

And another on the car's roof.

Oh shit i don't know how many remained out in the dark. I started to shake in fear.

Suddenly the zeds started to move away. I started to wonder what made them to move suddenly.

A screaming sound startled me.
