I felt myself sagging in relief. May be Andrew escaped.
I thought watching Jack frowning instead of being happy that we are going to be saved.
"Wha---" before finishing my sentence he held his finger to his lips silencing me.
He pointed to his ear and then door indicating to listen.
I nodded trying to listen. I heard nothing but painful moan from Benjamin.
"I can hear footsteps....but it is so light" Teena whispered making me to strain to hear.
" Yeah " Ethan agreed chewing his lips.
" Listen someone is speaking " Issac said making me groan in frustration.
And after a while laughing sound of a child is unmistakable.
" Oh my god..... It's Jade " Amy exclaimed making us curious.
"How?! What the hell is happening out there? She may get killed or... " Amy stopped in mid sentence looking at door.
" How she escaped from them?! " I exclaimed finishing her thoughts.
We turned around on hearing the door lock being unlocked.
" Hello everyone! " there stood clone of Jade beaming at us like she is proud of escaping us.
And that eerie feeling felt like slap to me. I suppressed my shudder.
But Amy flinched backing away.
Other sat knowing not what to do.
" Oh crap " Issac voice trembled on seeing the child.
" I killed moody...Come on we should go" She said motioning towards Benjamin who lay in his own pool of blood with a small knife sticking deep in his throat.
" Fuck" Ethan said shaking his head.
" Ummm.... Where are the others?" Ethan asked carefully.
She turned towards Ethan accessing him.
" Oh they are outside waiting for you" she said bouncing on her heels.
Jack turned towards me.I nodded my head indicating to move forward.
" Come on... " I said standing up but then realized hands are tied up.
The girl giggled moving towards Benjamin pulling out the knife with squelch sound.
I shuddered on seeing how casual she pulled the knife.
She waved the knife making me gulp.
She moved towards me with a smile on her face.
"wait " Jack said making her turn towards him.
She tilted her head with furrowed brow.
" Uhhh.... Why don't you untie me first? I will untie others.
She looked at him unblinking.
Her mouth broke into grin.
"Okay" With that she ripped the rope around his hand.
He removed the tie on his feet and helped Issac to untie while she stood by side watching.
After untying Issac Jack ran towards me engulfing in his arms.
He pulled me into demanding kiss making me cry in relief.
He then untied me helping me get up.
" God this is more than enough excitement for a day" I grumbled pointing the girl who is grinning from ear to ear in excitement.
