part two

The three sped into the car park of Steve and Robin's work after both Dustin and Max were adamant that this is where they'll find Eddie, especially once Dustin hacks their system.

"Dude, seriously, what have I missed?" Daphne sighs as she breaks, both kids flying forward and screaming.

"Daphne, you're going to kill us," Dustin grumbled, looking her dead in the eyes as he was genuinely concerned for how his sister passed her driving test.

"Dustin, we should just tell her," Max mumbled from the back, fearing that they could probably use all the help they were going to get.

"We don't have time!" Dustin flung his hands in the air as he jumped out the car, practically running into the store, Max climbing out and Daphne chasing after them.

The familiar ding of the doors rang through her ears as it was flung open, sure enough the store was empty with Steve and Robin perched at the desk, the sound of the news in the background as they watched intently.

Daphne couldn't help but wonder if Steve knew whatever had gone on. But who was she kidding, of course he did, him and his perfect hair are basically attached to Dustin's hip.

Robin turned around and smiled at her friend walking in. Although, it was a concerned smile. They were obviously aware of the murder in Hawkins now.

Steve turned to the sound, double taking at the trio. He couldn't help but linger a little longer on Daphne as she sped in behind Dustin. It was obvious she was Dustin's sister, they shared the same adrenaline led behaviour as the other. Although, the trait that caused him to roll his eyes at his younger friend seemed slightly more endearing towards the older Henderson.

"Hey, Steve," Dustin huffed as he stormed through the doors, the three heading straight for the desk.

"You see this?" Steve questioned, motioning to the tv. The three ignored him as they were on their mission.

"How many phones do you have?" Dustin asked, both Steve and Robin taking confused glances at the other.

"Someone was murdered." Steve deadpanned, Daphne rolling her eyes as if to say duh, keep up.

"How many phones do you have?" Dustin asked again, the matter of life or death evident.

"Two, why?" Steve shrugs.

"Technically three, if you count Keith's," Robin added, suspicion laced on her face.

"Yeah, three works," Max nodded to Dustin, Daphne still not sure how that'll help.

"Either I'm stupid or- how is that gunna-" Daphne started as she leaned against the counter, glancing towards Steve and back at Dustin.

"What are you doing?" Steve sighed irritatedly as Dustin shrugged his backpack off dramatically.

He then threw his backpack over the counter, knocking down the pile of tapes displayed so neatly.

"Dustin!" Daphne scolds simultaneously as Steve throws his hands up and yells "WHAT ARE YOU-"

"My pile!" Robin whines, Daphne tutting at her brother but smirking at Robin and how passionate she is about her placement of the tapes.

"They let you do that all by yourself?" Daphne teases, Robin cocking her head to the side as if to say 'really?'. Although the older Henderson shrugs and mimes a 'sorry' to her friend.

"No, no, no, no! My tapes! Dude!" Steve whines again as he then knocks over another pile, Daphne this time following and throwing herself over the counter, knocking down a sign that smashes to the floor. "Seriously?!" Steve shouts towards the older Henderson who waves him off.
