Chapter 96

"Please, babies, I'm begging you. We're coming back!" the Alpha pleaded with the four pups, who were crawling and screaming their heads off.

Joon looked at his wife, "We aren't even their parents. Why are they so mad."

Kris snorted, "Alphas are so dumb sometimes I swear, scent them. If you two idiots scent them, they'll let you leave."

"You are kidding, right?"

"I'm not Sissy. They are pups; scent is how they feel secure."

"They do it with their parents, I get that. But why us?"

The Omega looked at her sister's husband and smiled softly. "You sneak out before they wake up, and she's always home with them. They've never been out here while you guys were trying to leave; otherwise, you would have run into this sooner. Just scent them and go to Target."

"Is someone home besides you and Tae?" Mandy asked as she scented Landon. "This one isn't going to be happy being home with two pregnant Omegas."

"No, but you guys aren't going to be gone long and he's already eaten. Once you leave, I'm putting them down for a nap, and he'll be fine once he can hold Yoonji."

Mandy frowned, "are you sure? I can send Joon by himself."

Kris laughed, "You want to send Joon to the store himself?"

"Yeah, you're right."

"I'm right here, you know. I have four degrees, four. I can handle going to the store."

The Omega giggled while Mandy patted her husband on the chest and cooed at him, telling him that he could and that she was so proud of him. "Go, you scented them, so they'll be fine."

"I'm not doing it, Jin. I'm six months pregnant with twins, and you want me to fly to Hawaii."

"It's our first anniversary, and I want to spend some time away from our crazy pack, just you and me before our pups come."

"What about Tae? He's pregnant, and I'm his Doctor."

Jin reached out and held his wife's hands, "and his soulmate and best friend, Nurse Jimin, is here to ensure everything is okay. It's only for a week; he'll be fine."

"Jimin isn't a Nurse yet," she mumbled.

"And you aren't a Doctor yet," he countered.

She sighed, "Fine, but if they need me, we are on the next flight home. No questions asked and no arguments."

"I promise," he said, holding out his pinky, making her smile.

"Babe, you have to tell them. I mean, you can't dodge from Landon forever."

Mandy looked at her mate, "I know. It's just that Kris is gone on her anniversary trip, and after last time, I'd, I'd just rather wait and make sure."

"I understand, I do. It's just.."

"If we lose this one too, you don't want me to go through it without them?"

"Yes," he sighed. "I just want to ensure you have all the support you need, and I know I'm not enough."

She reached out and palmed his cheek before kissing his nose. "If that happens, I promise to say something. But you are more than enough."

"How was your trip?" Kat was waiting at the door for the two love birds to get home.

"It was great; he was so sweet and attentive."

"No one wants to hear about your sex life."

Kris rolled her eyes at Jimin, "Yet we get subjected to yours and Yoongi's all the damn time? That seems fair."

"It actu.." 

"Lordy, she meant I rubbed her feet and brought her all her meals in bed if she didn't want to get out of it. So calm down, we don't need a play-by-play of your bedroom antics, we hear it enough."

"Well, my baby boy's moans are beautiful to hear. You should be thankful that your ears were so blessed."

"Good lord, shut up and move it. I want to hug my sister." Mandy pushed past everyone to wrap her arms around her little sister. "I'm so happy you're home!"

"Why won't you hold your nephew?" Kat was pissed, Mandy has been avoiding Landon for months now, and she can't figure out why.

"I haven't been holding any of the pups, you weirdo. It's not like I'm singling out yours." 

A frown covered the Beta's face, "All right, that's true, so why are you hiding from the pups?"

The Alpha sighed heavily. She was almost five months pregnant, and hiding it had not been easy. "I'm, I don't know, saving myself for the twins. Yup, Kris is due any day now. Gotta be fresh for her pups."

The Beta glared at her soulmate, "That makes no sense, but I've learned not to fight you on shit like this. , he misses you."

He doesn't; the little turd has almost outed her like 10 times in the past week and a half alone. "I miss him too. Can't believe all of the babies are a year old. It seems like just yesterday they were born."

"And now they are running around the place terrorizing everything."

"I found Yoonji in my makeup the other day, she easily destroyed $400 worth of makeup. But she was having so much fun I didn't have the heart to scold her."

Kat laughed, "But you for sure scolded her Dad, right?"

"Hell, yes, I did, both of them. I threatened them with several ideas out of the playbook."

She went to stand up, "I know something is up, my soulmate senses are tingling. But I won't push you. So whenever you are ready, tell me."

"You have to, Mandy; I need your help. She's about to push out twins, and I'm not exactly a pro at this."

Mandy looked at the blonde Omega before her, "Jimin," she sighed. "I know how to assist in a birth about as much as I know fucking calculus, and we all know just how much I suck at math."

"Doesn't matter," Jimin snapped, "I can't do this alone, so you are going to have to help. We all know that Jin will be of no fucking help at all."

"Fine," she grumbled as she made her way into the clinic.

"Hi, Sissy," Kris chirped.

Mandy rolled her eyes, "Don't hi Sissy me. You look way too relaxed to be about to push two pups out. This one," she quipped as she pointed towards Jimin, "was acting like he was being murdered."

"I pushed them out my ass, you dick," he yelled back.
