#365 death by snake pit. Mandy giggled as she closed the playbook, adding the last one. In all her years of spouting off ways to murder people, she never wrote them down.
"Mom, have you seen Eaton and Ella?"
Mandy looked up from her desk to her 13-year-old daughter. "Uhh, I thought they were with Jiyoon and you, if I'm being honest."
Delaney huffed, "Jiyoon is in my room waiting for the three of us to watch a movie. But I can't find them anywhere."
"Go ask your brother; you know Micah is like a bloodhound with that nose."
Her daughter ran off, and she giggled to herself again. Ella, Tae, and Kook's Alpha daughter was an absolute hoot, and Eaton, Jin, and Kris' Alpha son was just as silly. They suited each other well as soulmates.
She looked out her window and smiled. They had hundreds of acres of land, and over the years, they've grown their own community. Wolves flocked from all over the country to Vegas when they learned about the Bangtan Pack, a pack of fated soulmates.
At first, Mandy was a little reluctant to add more members to their little pack. Would that pull the Moon Goddess' blessing? But the first time Mingi and Jiwon met little Omega Karsten, she knew this was for the best. The two Alphas were a year older than Karsten, but watching them try their hardest to court the 20-year-old was adorable.
So their pack grew and grew some more. They had a hospital where male Omegas could give birth safely and treatment plans to help female Alphas conceive. Their population had been dying out for a while, but here in Vegas, it was thriving. Their pack had nearly 1,000 members.
They were 100% self-sustaining. All jobs were held by members of the pack. They grew their own food, had solar energy, and had animals. It was amazing but still modern because Mandy would never give up her streaming services or online shopping.
They built several apartments on the property and cabins for people who wanted to be a bit separate but still close. They also planned to expand the school into a college, and Joon was over the moon about that.
Yoongi was really into the stock market after he sold his business when Jimin was pregnant with Jiyoon. He didn't want to stress his baby boy out by having him miss so much work at the hospital to come to work with his Alpha.
So Yoongs sold the business, invested the money, and took over as the Hospital director. It worked out for everyone.
Kat and Tae were teachers for the elementary school kids. Kook quit being a cop and deemed himself Sheriff of the pack. There were always incidents that needed policing, so they let him wear the ridiculous hat and ride the horse around the property.
Kris was the leading doctor in the hospital, and Jimin was the head nurse. There were others, but everyone and every case was run by those two first. Joon taught the high schoolers and would continue until they got the college up and running.
Jin and Hobi sold their restaurant and opened a communal kitchen to feed everyone. Jin loved that he didn't have to hide what he was, and Hobi loved that Landon worked with them. They never told him the truth, per Tessa's wish. But even if she hadn't asked, Landon was theirs.
And Mandy? Well, she was deemed the pack leader after a lot of crying from the Omegas. She never really wanted it, but she was good at it.
They were happy, they were blessed, and all of them knew just how lucky they were that Joon was late to lunch that day nearly 30 years ago. Something that Joon rarely ever did, but that day, he was late and took another route. It was the start of everything, and all of them thanked the Moon Goddess daily for their lives.
