Sticky buisness...

The video is the song I was listening to when I wrote this chapter, I'm going to start adding the videos that I listen to when I write :)

I whirled around to see what was behind us... but there was nothing there.

I could hear laughter from a number of different directions now, high pitched and taunting.

I looked at Ever. She had become very pale, but she seemed okay. The other campers were looking around, confused. The gods had shrunk down to normal size and were almost cowering in the presence of this voice.

Chaos walked over to Ever and whispered something in her ear. She nodded, then unfurled her wings. She flew upwards, racing towards the clouds, stopping only when she was above them. She raised her hands.

The whole camp began to glow, brighter and brighter every second. Soon it was full of white, sparkling light. The whole camp looked beautiful, like something out of a dream. I spun around, taking everything in.

That's when I noticed a patch of darkness. I started to walk towards it, purely inquisitive, when Chaos yelled for me to stop.

A bolt of black lightning struck me in the chest. I shook all over, then fell to the ground. It was like being electrified but the opposite. One bolt had completely drained me of my strength. If another one hit, I don't know what I'd do.

I could see the black shape charging up again. I knew that another bolt would come.

It struck me in the middle of my forhead. I couldn't move, couldn't think. My whole body shook once more, and I could hear someone screaming. It might've been me.

The darkness overtook me. It drowned my senses and emotions, and absorbed my mind. I was no longer myself, not was I in control of my own body.

I was trapped in a cage, inside my own mind. I could see out of my own eyes, but I couldn't control my own actions.

I turned and walked towards my friends. The campers gasped and whispered "Black eyes" "look at his eyes" "what happened?" "Is he ok?"

I reached the Imithon. They looked at me like a monster.

"What've you done to him?" Bianca asked, her words fierce and protective. I wanted to scream, to tell them that I was trapped, but I couldn't. I just walked straight past them.

Next was Chaos. She was staring at me as if she didn't even know me. I almost broke in half. My own parent didn't recognise me.

"Per- Omega, I know you're in there somewhere. Please, don't loose hope, we'll get you out of-"

Whatever was controlling me pushed past her. I didn't understand what we were doing, there's no-one behind Chaos- oh.

Ever landed gently on the grass. She smiled sadly, then walked towards us gracefully.

"I can see you. You're in a cage. Please, let him go. I don't want to have to hurt you to get to him." she asked the thing controlling me. It laughed, the same dark chuckle that we had heard earlier.

"Now listen here chuckles-" I started. I never got to finish.

"Omega is trapped, yes. He is now suffocating inside his own mind. If you do not follow my commands, he will die and I will take over his body completely. Understood?"

Ever looked me straight in the eyes and said "Yes."

In my mind she asked "Okay?"

I replied "Okay."

She replied "This isn't 'The fault in our stars' dummy, do you have a plan?"

I replied "No, not really. I'm kind of stuck." Just as I mentioned being stuck, the cage began to decrease in size. After it had stopped changing size, I was squished between the bars.

"Now I'm really stuck." I told her.

The thing controlling me grabbed Ever's arm forcefully and dragged her over to the dark shape. Just before he got there, he turned and spoke to the camp.

"I have taken Omega and Ever. You will be annihilated in a matter of days. Thank you for your cooperation."

He stepped into the darkness, and I heard the screams of campers who had lost hope.

I'm sure there's a reasonable explination for this somewhere...

IM SORRY FOR BEING A RUBBISH AUTHOR AND NOT UPDATING THE BOOK!!! I had writers block and anxiety but writing helps me avoid getting anxious so I really don't have any excuse why I haven't updated sooner!!!

I don't really know what to do with this book. I really like writing but I'm getting bored of writing fanfiction.

If you want me to continue the book, comment some ideas because I literally have none. If I get no comments I will stop writing for now, but I might do it again in the future. I won't delete the book, I'll just take a loooooooong break.

Thank you all for 9K reads! I really don't feel as though I deserve this many people to be reading this but I guess you all like the story so far!

I'd really appreciate if you guys checked out my other book "Touch". It's only got 3 chapters at the moment but I find it easier to write than this so you'll probably get quicker updates there!

I have homework to do and I'm avoiding it.
