As the Imithon walked back towards the Chaos cabin, it started raining. I'm not affected by water, so I stayed dry, but the others were completely soaked by the time we got to the cabin.
"Perrrrrrcy! Could you please dry me off, Aquaman?" Grover asked. I quickly raised my hand, letting the water float off them.
"Where do I put the water now? On your heads?" Everyone started shouting and pointing at a different person in the group, trying to persuade me to dump the water on their head. Luke was the only one not fighting, and he was sitting off to the side laughing his head off.
Suddenly, the water started moving, but I wasn't controlling it!
"Perce! What are you doing?!" Luke asked as the water shot towards him. He dodged it just in time, as it slammed into the wall straight afterwards. The water started moving on the wall to form a word.
'Sorry about that!' the water said. Luke stared at it suspiciously, then poked the water. It returned to a large splat on the wall, then started moving to form more words.
'The enemy you face is coming. Meet me in the east, in a jungle not far from your city. Mortals cannot see it, but you will be able to if you look past the mist. Help will come. Ever'
The water then fell to the floor after being released. I waved my hand to collect the water again, then opened the door and dumped it on the grass. Annabeth happened to be walking past and got splashed. As she spluttered and spun around to see who had done it, she slipped and fell in the mud. I sighed and trudged outside to help her up.
"I don't need your help!" She said, slapping my outstretched hand away, and falling back down in the process. I sighed again, then lifted her up with one hand.
"Get away from me, creep! Also, is Nico in there? I need to talk to him." She angrily started to tap her leg as she waited for an answer.
I picked her up and carried her onto the doorstep of our cabin, which was undercover, then used my powers to clean her clothes, dry herself and fix her hair.
"Sorry, we've just had some new information about the quest. I think we're a bit busy." I said as I finished fixing her hair. She still looked stunning, even if she was glaring at me like a murderer.
"No, but that's why I need to talk to him. I'm coming on the quest. I have to." she said, as if that explained everything. She then tried to open the door, which could only be opened by a member of the Imithon, or someone who we had shown our faces to. Needless to say, she didn't get in.
"I need to talk to him, now!" she demanded. I sighed, then EM-ed (Empathy messaged) Grover to send Nico outside.
Nico appeared on the doorstep, smiled at me, then started arguing with Annabeth.
You can't come! We need people that are going to work together, not try to murder each other! No!" Nico argued, actually holding his own against Annabeth. How times had changed.
"I NEED TO COME! Why won't you let me?! I'm more trustworthy than any of these masked murderers! They won't even show you their faces!" Annabeth cried, desperately looking to undermine the Imithon's position at camp.
"Wait! They showed you who they are? That's why you trust them! You have to tell me!!! Now!" Annabeth insisted, pointlessly tugging on Nico's sleeve.
The sky lit up with a bolt of lightning, as deafening thunder cracked and boomed. Annabeth shrieked as Nico snatched his sleeve back, yelled "I don't HAVE to do ANYTHING for you!" and ran back inside, slamming the door in Annabeth's face.
Annabeth started to sob, mumbling about 'losing all of her friends, Percy dying, Sally and Paul going missing, gods not talking to her and Henry ruining her life'.
