Sophia
Curling my body into the warm sheets, I slowly peel my eyes open.
Laid in Hunter's bed, wearing his shirt, I'm lost for words with what happened yesterday.
I really couldn't see the night ending with us back at his place, but I'm happy. Hunter really likes me and I think it's time to let go of my mindset and open myself up to other possiblities.
I snuggle myself further into the sheets as I turn over, reaching my arm out for Hunter. However, all I'm met with is an empty side of the bed. I sit up looking around, his room has dark grey walls, one huge plant in the corner, which seems to be a theme in any of Hunter's spaces. A single black chair in the other corner and there's two doors, one slightly open which leads to the hallway, and the other is the ensuite that I changed in.
I suddenly get a hint of coffee floating through the air and I know immediately where Hunter is.
I step out of bed and shuffle over to the door, down the hallway and into the large open plan kitchen and living area.
Hunter is stood in the kitchen, concentrating on the breakfast bar in front of him. His broad back on show to me, black joggers hanging off his waist.
I carefully tip toe up behind him and wrap my arms around his torso.
"Good morning." I whisper, placing a kiss to his back.
"Mm, a very good morning." He spins around as his hands find my body, letting his hands wonder down until they meet my ass.
He leans down and rests his forehead on mine, our eyes meet at the same time, I feel a spark running through my spine and I smile at the feeling.
"Is this real?"
"What?"
"You and me, here together." Hunter whispers.
"Very real." I say, placing a kiss on his cheek.
It's only then I notice the breakfast buffet presented on the table.
"You made breakfast?" I wander over to the table, smelling the delicious food he has cooked us.
I look over to him my eyes wide with excitement. No one has ever made this much effort with me before.
"Yeah, is that ok?" He scratches his neck nervously.
"It's perfect, thank you." I smile.
"The coffee is your usual too by the way."
I narrow my eyes at him.
"You made me my usual coffee? You had all that here?"
"Well I went out to get oat milk, and my coffee machine has all the options for an extra shot and stuff. I didn't know if you would ever be here and want a coffee so I wanted to be prepared."
My heart swells at the thought of him buying my oat milk especially for me.
I grin so wide my cheeks start to hurt. We both tuck into breakfast, there are pastries, fruit, eggs, juice and coffee. Even a vase of roses I spot on the end.
"You buy yourself flowers, I like them." I ask.
"Actually, I picked them up for you, but I forgot to take them with me to the club yesterday."
"Well, they can stay here so I can see them." I smile, popping the last bit of mango in my mouth.
"Do you want to spend the day with me?"
