Sophia
1 month later ...
I've been living with Hunter for the past month now, and I honestly can say it's been amazing.
We have fallen into a pretty good routine together, while I've been picking up more hours at the coffee shop still, Hunter has been doing less hours at the club.
The October weather outside is cold and rainy. I'm currently listening to the raindrops hitting the window, as I lay in Hunter's bed waiting for him to come home. It's always busy on a Saturday night, so I know he will be at the club until at least 1am.
I must have drifted off at some point as I feel Hunter wrap his arms around my body, waking me up.
"I'm here baby, go back to sleep." Hunter whispers in my ear.
"What time is it?" I mumble.
"2.30am, sorry I'm late getting home, it's been a crazy night." He explains.
"It's fine, you're here now." I snuggle back into him, the warmth of his body comforting me.
"I love coming home to you Soph." He kisses my cheek before resting his head on the pillow.
I sneak out of bed around 7am the next morning, making my way to the living area to do my morning yoga flow. I make some coffee afterwards and sit at the breakfast bar.
I'm lost in thought when I hear my phone ping next to me. Seeing a text from Cassie that she will be home for the weekend, makes a smile appear on my face.
"There's my girl." Hunter whispers in my ear, making me jump, his hands wrap around my waist.
"I was just letting you sleep a little." I tell him.
I don't want him to feel like he has to wake up with me after not getting home until the early hours.
"I sleep better with you next to me." He kisses my cheek.
"I have some good news." I smile at him while he pours himself a coffee.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, Cassie is coming home for the weekend soon. I've missed her so much."
I'm happy for my best friend, but I'm used to seeing her everyday when we lived together.
"That's nice, you'll have to make sure you get that weekend off so you can spend time with her." He tells me, sipping his coffee.
I admire him from my seat, he's only wearing boxers, his muscular tattooed chest and arms on full display for me. My eyes staring at the detailed patterns, my favourite being the black rose he has over one shoulder.
"You're staring Soph." He chuckles.
"Sorry, but you will walk around with only underwear on so where am I supposed to look."
We laugh and chat for a while, before Hunter head's back to work for 5pm. He's only going to the bar tonight so he shouldn't be home too late, it doesn't need as much attention as the club he told me.
I'm sat flicking through the TV channels, laid on Hunter's sofa. I like this, being here with him.
It feels like home.
I've even cooked for us a couple of times. Hunter loves that he's been the first guy to do things like this with me. I definitely couldn't have seen myself living with a guy at the start of this year but it's funny how your life changes when you least expect it to.

I'm looking forward to this week, I have a date night with Hunter tonight, after he had to cancel on Monday night at the last minute as something came up with the club.
