Sophia

I wake up to my alarm blaring out the next morning.

As it's now the weekend, Ivy isn't working and Cassie only works until 6pm which means we spend nearly every Saturday night together. Normally we opt for a movie night and a takeaway.

I hop out of bed and head into our living area. The apartment which I share with Cassie isn't the biggest, but it is perfect for us.

Grabbing my yoga mat from the basket in the corner I roll it out onto the wooden floor and begin my practise. Even though I only teach my yoga class three days a week, I still practise everyday.

Just as I'm in downward dog position, I hear Cassie enter the living room and drop her body on the sofa behind me.

I finish up my stretch and sit crossed legged facing Cassie, who looks like an excited puppy staring at me, eyes wide and a huge grin on her face.

"What?" I ask, laughing at her.

"Well, I'm waiting to here how your date went last night." She bounces up and down, clapping her hands together.

"Yeah, its was fine." I shrug.

"Fine?! That's it?"

"Yeah, he took me to an Italian restaurant, we talked, he went back to his penthouse and-"

"You let him fuck you again!" She shouts at me.

"No!"

"No?"

"We were kissing but that was it, he said he wanted to be a gentleman and brought me home." I explain, while folding my yoga mat away and heading into the kitchen to make some breakfast.

Cassie joins me and hops onto the counter.

"So you like him." She raises her eyebrows at me.

"I mean, yeah. He's a great guy, he is respectful and kind and-"

"Hot!" Cassie squeals, fanning herself with her hands.

"Ok yeah, he's a very attractive man." I admit.

I did have a really good time last night, and he is an amazing kisser.

Cassie jumps down from the kitchen side, as I stand eating my yoghurt and granola.

"I'm just happy for you Soph, dating hot club owners and looking all cute and happy." She pulls me in for a hug.

"So, I need to get ready for my shift but I'll see you and Ivy back here tonight, yeah?"

"Have a good day!" I yell after her as she heads back to her bedroom.

After I've showered, I quickly change into my uniform for my shift at the coffee shop, as I'm pulling my hair into a messy bun on the top of my head, I hear my phone ping.

I smile reading the text Hunter just sent me. We send a few messages back and forth, letting each other know what we are up to today and that we will talk later.

"Here's your coffee, thank you." I smile to the last customer. We had just finished the brunch time rush and heading into the early afternoon trade.

"Darling, you can take ten now the queue has quietened down." Jenny says behind me.

I turn behind the counter and nod.

"Thanks, Jen. Mind if I grab a coffee and a snack?" I ask, pointing at the few pastries we have left on the counter.

"Of course." She winks at me.
