Hunter
"Where were you last night? I thought you were coming down to the club?"
I'm with Jack in my office at the club, it's only 9.30pm, so we haven't opened the doors yet.
I can't stop my knee from bouncing as I sit on my sleek black office chair. I haven't heard from Sophia all day.
After leaving her at Aroma earlier on, I thought when she finished her shift that maybe she would call or text me, but no.
Nothing.
I haven't reached out to her, in thinking I'm coming across desperate, but I'm fucking irritated.
"Hunter, what's with you?" Jack probes, looking at my shaking leg.
"Sorry, I had a date with Sophia last night and we ended up at my place watching a movie, so I never made it to the club." I explain my whereabouts.
"That's all good mate, just a text would have been nice, it's not like you to not be here every night." Jack looks at me concerned.
It completely slipped my mind about coming here, I was just enjoying being in Sophia's company. This isn't like me, I can't seem to go about my normal routine without being distracted by this beautiful girl.
"Well, I'm here now, and I don't think a second date is on the cards anyway." I tell him, looking down at my phone.
No new notifications.
"Maybe she's just busy. There will be plenty of girls here tonight so why don't you head out there and see if there's another hot brunette who's wants to be fucked by you." Jack insists, knowing I have a thing for brunettes.
"I'm just going to catch up on some paperwork tonight."
"Ok, well I'll see you later then." Jack heads out, ready for the crazy Saturday night clubbers to be lining up at his bar.
I glide my hands through my hair, when I hear my phone vibrate. Glancing at my phone I see a message from Sophia.
It must be my lucky fucking day.
She has kept me on edge all day waiting for her reply but I couldn't be happier.
I reply straight away, not wanting this opportunity to pass by, letting her know we can meet tomorrow. Suddenly a knock at my door brings me away from my thoughts.
"Come in!"
"Boss we need you, the bar is crazy tonight. Wait, your smiling now?" He asks, eyeing me suspiciously as he pokes his head around the door.
"Yeah, funny thing actually, Sophia got back to me. We have a date tomorrow." I say smiling.
"Fucking knew it." Jack mumbles shaking his head laughing as I follow his out to the bar.

The next morning I wake with a smile on my face, knowing that today I will be seeing Sophia.
I jump out of my kingsize bed and head straight into the shower, letting my body relax under the heat of the water.
I brush my fingers through my freshly washed hair and pick out some clothes to wear. I go with a pair of blue denim jeans, a beige plain t-shirt and white Converse.
Grabbing my car keys off the kitchen side, I quickly unplug my phone from the charger, glancing at the time.
It's only a ten minute drive but I want to stop by Aroma and pick us up some coffees.
