Sophia
I wake up the next morning to a text from Hunter.
All he sent me was an address, so I open it up in my maps on my phone. It's a few blocks down from Hunter's club, but not a registered business or anything on my app.
I have no clue why he would want to meet me there.
As I pull an outfit together and get ready, I smile thinking back to last night, dancing with Hunter and our kiss as he dropped me home. I touch my lips in memory of his mouth on mine.
I call an Uber and grab my bag before heading outside, facetiming Ivy and Cassie quickly to check in.
"Hey Soph."
"Morning girls."
"How are you feeling Ivy?" I ask.
"I'm better now, think I was just coming down with a cold or something, how was your night?" She raises her brows at me.
Cassie starts giggling as I answer.
"Hunter gave me a ride home, and we kissed. It was perfect. I'm actually on my way to meet him now."
Cassie squeals.
"I think you guys are so cute, he definitely is still in love with you, I saw you two dancing last night." She winks at me, Ivy nodding in agreement.
"Well I'll see you later, are we still meeting at Ivy's before we drop you off at the airport tonight Cass?"
"Yeah, see you later Soph."
"Bye!"
As the Uber pulls up, I glance out the window looking for Hunter. I step out cautiously, not knowing where I'm going. I look at the address Hunter sent me again.
I look to my right and there's a building with boards on the outside, with a small door propped open.
I walk towards it looking for a number, and then I spot it.
This is it.
I enter into the building and spot a counter in the middle, with a bunch of red roses in a vase. My eyes scan around, taking in the surroundings, I walk myself to the room infront of me. I spot Hunter with another man holding some papers in his hand.
"Hunter?"
"Oh hey Soph, I'm glad you made it."
He turns to the man at his side, shaking his hand. The man gives Hunter the papers and some keys, before leaving us alone in the building.
"I know this seems very random, asking you to meet me here but I promise I can explain. I haven't been completely honest, but I wasn't lying to you, I was just trying to surprise you and think of us for the future. All the extra work I've been doing for the past four months is because of this place."
I look around, it's definitely not a bar or a club like his other businesses. It looks more like a studio, with the light wooden flooring, mirrored and white walls with plants scattered around.
I hear drilling coming from outside, I turn around then glance back to Hunter over my shoulder as he raises his brows.
"Give them a second to take the boards down and we can go outside. Promise me you won't freak out and you'll let me explain everything?"
"Sure." I drag out.
I honestly don't know what is going on.
A minute later a guy shouts to us through the door. "All done boss!"
