Hunter
I'm so fucking angry.
I couldn't sleep thinking about today, I dragged myself into bed around 4.30am after leaving Sophia's place.
I've ruined my relationship already.
I saw the look on Sophia's face when I turned up at her apartment, she didn't want me there and that fucking hurt.
I should have just told her about Lucy flirting with me, but how do I tell my girl that?
I didn't want to make a big deal out of nothing. Which is exactly what it is, fucking nothing.
I'm sat outside her apartment now. I have a coffee waiting for her. I mentally pray that she gives me a chance to explain everything.
A few minutes later, Sophia appears from her door and walks over to my car. As she climbs inside she doesn't even look at me.
"Hey, I got you a coffee." I say, handing the cup over to me. She takes it luckily and whispers a small thank you.
"You alright with coming to mine?" I try and get her to talk to me, to even look at me.
"Yeah." She mumbles, gazing out of the window.
She looks beautiful this morning, her hair in a messy bun, no makeup on her face, wearing loose fit jeans and a cropped white vest top, with sliders on her feet.
We make our way into my penthouse, I guide Sophia to the breakfast bar so she can sit.
"Alright, I know you want an explanation, so I'm just going to be honest and tell you everything."
She nods, taking a sip from her coffee cup.
"So the other week when I was really busy with the club, we hired some new bartenders. Lucy, the girl you saw me talking to last night, is one of them. She was trying to flirt with me the whole week which fucking pissed me off. I told her numerous times that Jack is her manager so she needed to go through him to stop her talking to me. Anyway, last night I saw her in VIP, which isn't where she is supposed to be, and that pissed me off more. She was trying to talk to me and kept winking at me and the last thing I wanted was you getting pissed off at her or me. So, I had to find out why she was there. Jack followed me after finding out from Pete that she offered to work the VIP, and I know she only did that because I reserved a table in my name which all the hostess' can see."
I sigh, catching a glimpse of Sophia, now staring at me, her brain processing everything.
"Then I realized what my actions would have looked like from your perspective and I was fucking furious at myself. That if I had stayed with you and not let her get to me, the night would have ended very differently. Me and Jack went back to the table and you were gone. Sophia, I've never panicked so much in my fucking life. I knew you could have only gone back to mine or yours. Eric was in the lobby when I got here and said he hadn't let you in, so I drove straight to yours." I continued.
I hope this all makes fucking sense to her.
"I didn't want to tell you because it's nothing to worry about, I've kept my distance and I've handled the situation."
Sophia places her coffee down and looks up at me, tears in her beautiful eyes.
"So nothing has happened with her?" Her voice breaks as she talks.
"No baby, never. She is testing my fucking patience and Jack has promised to keep her out of my way." I stand infront of her, holding my palms up so she can place her hands in mine.
