Jade laughed loud and drunkenly as she and Jason made their way back to their room. They had spent all afternoon and night exploring Madeira, Portugal with bags and bags of gifts to prove it.

"Babe!" Jade snickered as she bumped into the door. Jason laughed at her in his drunken state as he helped her open the door.

The two collapsed on the bed after dropping their bags on the floor. "Today was so much fun, Jason. Those puppies and the people. The weather. The food. I'm obsessed. We have to come back! Please say we'll come back!"

Jason nodded his head as he sat up. "We'll come back, babe. I promise." Jade smiled up at him. "You're really sexy, you know that?" Jason shook his head as she sat up.

"I miss you, Daddy." Jade purred as she played with the hair on the nape of his neck. "Jade..." Jade moved to straddle his lap as Jason kept his hands to his side.

"Jade, you're drunk. I'm drunk." She snickered at him as she flashed her wedding rings. "Didn't stop us from making crazier decisions."

Jade pulled him closer and tried to kiss him, but Jason stopped her. She continued forcing him to speak up. "Babe, stop." Jade pouted and got off of him angrily. Jason knew she was about to pitch a fit from her expression.

"Why don't you want me? You say you love me but then you lie and now you won't even kiss me!" Jason sighed loudly. "Your drunk, babe. I want to kiss you more than you know but only when you're coherent enough to tell me you forgive me. Only when you confirm that we're on the road to being our best selves again."

"Were you drunk when you fucked her? Were you drunk when you got another bitch pregnant? I know you were! I'm good enough to lie to, but not good enough to sleep with. Got it!"

Jade stormed into the bathroom and slammed the door. Jason sighed as he looked downward. He knew it was the liquor talking. Jade would never act that way. Jason sat there thinking about the day they had.

It was so perfect. They woke up in one another's arms and just laid there for an hour soaking it in. They had breakfast on the balcony and talked about the plans they had for the day. Jade was in love with the city and Jason knew she would be. The colors and aromas. Her smile never left her face.

Then they shopped and shopped and eventually dropped in for dinner at a local restaurant. It was the best day and now it was ruined, because Jade was a horny drunk and he was trying to be a good guy.

Jason groaned as he laid back on the bed. He lost himself to his drunken thoughts as sleep pulled him under.

Jason woke up to the sound of air being forcefully blown. He looked around and saw the sun barely shining and that Jade was nowhere to be found. He went to the balcony to figure out the noise and saw three whales swimming alongside the ship. It was a marvelous sight.

"Wow." Jason whispered as he looked around to share the experience with Jade. "Where the fuck is she?" He looked at the counter in the kitchen area and found their two room keys. He looked at the living space and found nothing. He saw the light on in the bathroom and made his way in.

There sleeping in the tub was a passed out Jade. Jason shook his head. He knew between the hangover and neck cramp Jade would not be a happy camper that day.

He picked her up and laid her down on the couch. He knew she wouldn't want her makeup getting on their pristine sheets. Jason took the time to sit out on the balcony and watch the whales who were still swimming happily alongside them.

He heard movement before a gasp. "Babe, are you seeing this?!" Jade asked excitedly before groaning and holding her head.

"I am. I'm really glad that you're seeing it too." Jason smiled at her. "Come here." Jade made her way over to him and sat in his lap. He rested his chin on her shoulder as they watched the whales that seemed to be a family.
