I got out of Lucas's car and thanked him for tonight.

It really was amazing, I had so much fun. It was probably the most fun I've had in awhile.

I closed my front door and went into the basement where my room was.

My phone chimed and I looked down to see that the cast for 'The Nutcracker' had come out.

My body immediately filled up with anxiety as I clicked on the notification.

I opened the email to see...

THE NUTCRACKER CAST

THE NUTCRACKER -
WILLIAM BYERS

CARLA -
MAXINE MAYFIELD

SUGARPLUM FAIRY -
ELEANOR HOPPER

....

"Yes!" I whisper yelled, almost falling to my knees.

How is my life so perfect right now? I mean, I've always been the best in figure skating but I just got back from a amazing date too.

My mom and Neil were in bed, and Billy wouldn't care so I just walked towards my room, I would tell them in the morning.

As soon as I got into my room and turned on my lights I was immediately scared by El and Will flooding me with questions.

I think I actually let out a scream.

"Why are you guys here? It's ten on a school night!" I said with my hand over my heart, recovering from the mini heart attack I just had.

"How was it?!" Will very asked very hyper.

"It was amazing! But seriously, why are you guys here? Not that I'm not happy to see you guys though." I repeated.

"We wanted to see how the date went!" El responded.

"And we couldn't just Group FaceTime?" I giggled.

"Everything is better in real life, now tell us everything!" El sighed as she grabbed my hand and lead me towards my bed to sit and spill.

It was now Thursday and I was walking through the hallways to math and I was texting Lucas.

It seemed like that was all I had been doing recently.

I was just about to reply to him, but then I felt two hands grab my shoulders.

"Ah!" I yelled, causing people to look at me. I looked up to see Lucas.

"Hey!" I smiled.

"Hey! What class are you going too?" He asked.

"Math, Mr. Brenner." I groaned.

"Ew, anyways, I was wondering if you still wanted to go out again?" He questioned.

Of course I did!
