After we left the park and parted ways from Maria and Mateo, we headed back to Dylan's house.
"That was fun." I tell Dylan as we enter his house.
"Yeah, it was." he says in a low tone, coming in from behind me. I turn around and look him in the eye.
"Why don't you like Mateo?" I asked. Shock spread across his face from my bluntness.
"What do you mean?" he asked. Okay so he's going to play dumb.
"You know what I mean, Dylan. Why were you so pissed and hesitant about Mateo taking us in the first place and then glared at him half the time when they showed up." I explained to him with my arms crossed. He let out a sigh.
"I was just frustrated at the fact that you were going to spend more time with him. And the fact that we both know that he has a thing for you. Is that what you wanted to hear?!" He shot at me.
"DO NOT, raise your voice at me," I say walking forward with my finger pointed at him.
"It's not my fault you were jealous." I say finally reaching him, my finger hitting his chest. He stares down at me with an unreadable expression. Not wasting my time on him any longer, I turn on my heel and begin to walk off.
Before I could get too far, Dylan grabs my wrist and spins me around till I fall into his chest. We stare deep into each others eyes, neither of us breaking contact. Before I knew it our lips smashed against each others, both hungry for more. Are lips danced harshly. And even though I wanted more, I knew this wasn't going to fix anything.
I parted from him, hiding my disappointment unlike him. I wanted more. We both wanted more, but I knew it was wrong.
"This isn't going to fix this. When you're ready to confront your feelings, you know where to find me." I say before turning around and walking to my room, not giving him another glance. As I approached the stares, AJ was descending them.
"Hey, Naomi." he says with a smile.
"Hey." I retort quietly before running up the stairs and into my room. I close the door quickly before falling on my bed. Exhausted from feelings, I fall asleep quickly, with nothing but Dylan on my mind.
I wake up feeling a hand caress my cheek. It's soft and gentle. When I open my eyes, I saw someone who I thought wasn't Dylan because of my blurry sight. I let out a shriek before punching the stranger straight in the nose. Instead of my fist hitting them, they quickly dodged it before grabbing my wrist.
"Get the fuck off of me!" I yell as I rustled around with them.
"Naomi it's me! Dylan!" he shouts. Before he could say it though, my foot slammed straight into his baby maker.
Dylan lets out a shout of pain as he releases me and cups his groin area. He then backs up till he reaches the wall before falling to his knees.
"Oh shit, sorry Dylan." I say before going up to him, crouching down to his level, and touching his shoulder in comfort.
"You're good." he groans, still in pain.
After a few minutes, he was better and stood up.
"You have a mighty kick." he says, taking a small step forward.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you." I say with a small laugh.
"You couldn't tell it was me?" he asked with curiosity.
"My visions blurry when I wake up. It usually clears in 20 minutes."
"Have you ever been to the doctor for this?" he questions before walking, more like limping to the closet.
