~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Robin's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I started hanging out with Steve and the kids more, they gave me my own Walkie to talk to them on. So, before we left Eddie alone again, we gave him one as well. It only felt right, can't leave "The Freak" alone while he's been accused of murder with no way to call for help. Steve had brought me home after we took Max and Dustin home. It wasn't long after I had made my way to my room I heard some static. "Buckley, you there? It's Eddie." I reached over and grabbed my walker and pressed the button. "This is she, what's up, Munson? Over." The kids radio talk kinda grew on me a bit, plus it was fun. "Come back, I got a baggie of bliss with your name all over it." I rolled my eyes, not like he could see it. But Eddie knows I won't turn down weed. "Alright Munson, on my way. Over." I shoved my walkie in my backpack and wrapped my own bong in a t-shirt and put it in there too. I ran down the stair and yelled out I was going to Nancy's. I grabbed my bike and started pedaling.
It took about twenty-five minutes for me to bike out back to Reefer Rick's and to no surpirse it appears he still wasn't home. I made my way around back and knocked lightly as to not scare the shit out of him. "It's Robin, let me in." I heard him move around and then he opened the door. "Welcome, Welcome." I walked in and sat down and a stool by a kayak. "So I brought my bong because I didn't see one earlier." I smiled as he made his way back over and sat across from me on a chair. "Why, how kind? Thank you." He chuckled as he opened his black metal lunchbox. I reached over and got out my bong from my bag. I took my water bottle and filled the base. I passed it to Eddie and he packed the bowl. He then lit it, and took a hit. The he handed it back to me with the lighter. "So, You and Harrington are...?" He looked over at me as I took my hit. I exhaled and gave him a confused look. "Oh dude no. It's not like that like at all." I thought for a minute before elaborating, but this was Eddie. "The Freak." And he was hiding out because he was accused of murder. He was definitely safe to tell. "I um, I like girls..." She looked up at him to see how he took it. He looked a little surprised. "Oh wow really that's crazy!" He gave her this dumfounded look. "Wait it's that shocking?" I looked at him confused, then he snickered and laughed. "Aw dude! No, it's painfully obvious. I just wanted to make sure I was right." He smiled, passing me the bong. I smiled, it was nice to have someone be so casual about it. I lit the bowl and took a big hit. I passed it back to Eddie to be repacked. "So, why do you wear that bandana all the time? Does it like have a meaning? Like the punks and their laces or whatever." I asked, genuinely curious. "Well Buckley.." He smiled real big. "It's called flagging. And it's used by gay men to let other gay men know what they're into. And weather they top or bottom." My eyes got a bit wide. I had yet to find another gay person my age. I mean, everyone knows Will likes Mike but he won't admit it. "So you're gay?" I asked. Stupid question I know. "As Elton John." He smiled and crossed his legs. I snickered. "I'm sorry, it's just I have no gay friends." I smiled. "Well you do now Buckley. We can talk about allll that queer stuff now." He snickered and I smiled. This is gonna be awesome.
