Steve had work today, which was the perfect distraction from Eddie. He couldn't face him right now anyway. It wasn't that he was ashamed of what he did last night, it's just he doesn't want to fuck this up. Steve got up and put on his Family Video uniform, at least he has Robin to distract him. Robin always made Steve feel better, she never judged him, she was just his best friend. And one his age, which he had to admit, he didn't have many of. Steve grabbed his keys off the table and heading off to work.
Steve pulled up to Family Video and made he was inside, Robin was already putting tapes up on the shelves. She stood up and turned to greet Steve. "Hey, Nice of you to show up." She chuckled as Steve smiled and walked behind the counter. "Anything interesting today?" Robin shook her head. There was nothing interesting that was gonna happen in a video rental store in Hawkins, but to make conversation Steve had to ask. "No, but there is like five or six tapes that need to be checked back in." Robin smiled and walked off to restock the candy, as Steve bent down to get the tapes from under the counter. He grabbed them and laid them beside the computer and he started logging them back in. Steve was too busy logging in the returned tapes to notice that the boy he had been fantasying about the previous night had just walked in. If only Steve Harrington had practiced for this. Eddie walked into the Family Video, not for a tape or return but to talk to Steve. "Harrington!" Eddie walked up to the counter, his stupid grin plastered across his face. "You ran away so fast I didn't get to ask if you'd be coming again." Steve's head turned quick, facing Eddie. His cheeks were flushed a light pink. "Y-Yeah! I'd love to!" Eddie leaned over the counter. "Maybe I could give you a private show at my trailer..this weekend maybe?" Eddie winked, this was bold of him and truth be told, he could just play some music for Steve if things went south. This was the safest way to flirt with Steve Harrington. Steve's cheeks flushed, but this time it was definitely noticeable. "I'll be there.." Steve smiled and Eddie grinned before turning around and heading out the door. And that's when it clicked for Steve that Eddie's whole reason for coming to Family Video, was to ask him that.
