~~~~~Eleven's POV~~~~~
     Joyce had recently told us we were moving back to Hawkins. Hopper had told her I was struggling in school and he thinks I'll be better where my friends are. And I do miss my friends and I am excited to go back to Hawkins. I am not excited to see Mike though. I know that he doesn't like me like he likes Will. I can see that now. I just don't want Will to get hurt because Mike is stupid. I want to just shake him and yell at him that he's clearly stupid. I've lived here for a while now, and Will never shuts up about Mike. He's never joined another DnD club, he just waits for Mike. I know he likes him, I've always kinda known. I was selfish for being mad at Will about the letters but I don't know how to say I'm sorry. Hopper would know what to do.
     I crept downstairs and into the kitchen. Hopper was drinking his morning coffee. "Dad.. ?" I peeked around the corner. "Hey kiddo." He smiled at me and I walked over to him. "Can I talk to you about something?"  I hoped up on the barstool as he looked across the counter at me. "Sure, what's going on?" He raised an eyebrow at me. "Mike and I broke up, but that's not all." I looked up at him. "I saw the letter Will got from Mike and I think Mikes likes him." Hopper looked at me for a second. "Well kid, I think that's something we both can agree on. That's why I tried so hard to keep you from him at the cabin. He might've fooled you and all the kids but as far as me and Joyce, we can see right through them." He smiled before taking a sip of his coffee.  "I just don't want Will to get hurt, Dad. Mikes stupid and he'll definitely mess this up." Hopper raised an eyebrow. "Now, you don't know that. You gave him a push when you told him to work on himself right?" "How'd you-?" "Doesn't matter. Point is, you gave him the push he needs to come to the realization. If he doesn't that by all means smack some sense into him yourself. But give it time and trust him some. Will sure does." Hopper smiled and I smiled too. "Now, want an Eggo?" I nodded and smiled. I hope this works out for them.
