It had been three months and she had become very close with all the starks and the occasional yet constant flirting with Sandor and yet not flirting. She didn't know. She didn't understand. Tyrion made his efforts for her attention more obvious but she couldn't help but want the man she didn't know truly wanted her. always wanting what she cant have...

The Starks said they would keep her secret but she told them when she got back to the rock she wanted everyone to know the last Frost was alive and a force to be reckoned with.

Tywin was not happy when he found out that Alina had shared her secret but Ned wrote to him saying that the north, that winterfell would always be a safe space for Catalina Frost. She would be safe and protected for as long as the starks protected the north.

'Sansa.' Alina called chasing after her, 'I made you this... I haven't mastered thicker clothing...' she held out the dress. Sansa grabbed it admiring it. 'ive never needed anything warmer.' Alina said laughing. 'I hope you like it.'

'I love it!' sansa hugged her tight.

'I'm glad... ive always wanted a sister.' Alina said. 'I feel like... maybe when I come back... if I come back...'

'you are always welcome and I would love if you were my sister!" Sansa declared hugging her again. 'I'm going to miss you Alina.' Sansa told her.

'And I you.' Alina went around giving ice crated blades and snowflakes throwing blades to the rest of the starks and theon. 'be careful, they should last forever but I warn you they will melt in fire.'

'Even if we take them south?' Robb questioned.

'I live in the south and they stay perfectly sharp, I assure you. I have gotten quite skilled at weaponry.' Alina informed them hugging them all goodbye. 'Lord Stark.' Alina said as Sandor got her horse ready.

'You have been an absolute treasure, Alina.' He told her. 'please come back anytime. You are always welcome here.' He told her and she hugged him goodbye.

'Thank you, Lord Stark.'

"Ned.' He corrected.

'Ive loved being here. I forgot how much I missed the snow... living at the rock for so long... Tywin wont be happy I extended my stay but I will make sure I come back. Your children, you and your family are simply and most exquisitely wonderful.' Alina told him.

'You have made this old dark place feel new again.' Ned told her. 'Come back soon.'

'Ready Killer?' Sandor questioned. Alina waved one final goodbye as they left for the trek back to the rock.

'You seemed to enjoy the starks.' Tyrion noted on their journey. He was not suited for the north. He preferred the sun on his face but he saw how happy Frosty had been surrounded by the snow. His father would ask how her training went and Tyrion could honestly say she was stronger in the north.

'They are good people.' Alina said simply. She wished she could stay in the north forever but she knew Tywin would never approve.

'You seem sad Killer.' Sandor said glancing over at her.

'I liked it there. it felt like home.' She told them. 'I don't remember the north... where I was born.' She admitted. 'but the snow and the cold... it just felt right, you know?' she questioned and they didn't but they nodded. To know something, to feel something like that, that sense of security and peace and home... maybe they did know what it felt like because when both men looked at Alina they felt at home.
